Yeah this. I think I've seen them in NWAF tents as well...but could be wrong. The trickiest finds are the pistol holsters because they're so hard to spot.

when I'm at a crash site I line myself up with the heli and walk a zigzag search pattern on both sides with my inventory window open.  that way I don't miss much.

They seem to only spawn at the US heli crash. But I found a holster at Myshkino tents. Someone might have dropped it though.  Heli crashes are very strange, it seems that the longer you hang around the more items spawn at them. I sometimes roll around in the grass around the heli, making a flat surface for the items, and a fool of myself if anybodys watching.
