Russians

Recommended Posts

Since I started playing this game, I've been warned of crazy, aggressive Russian bandits. I think most people receive the same warning before they play as a sort of joke but I wanted to present a bit of a query for you all: What are your experiences with Russians?

Mine have been mostly positive. Only once has a Russian killed me and it was due to a language barrier. I've met several others that have been either friendly or silent but non-aggressive. I look forward to meeting Russkies because they seem to be much friendlier to me, relatively.

To be one hundred percent honest, the worst experiences I've had with players of different nationalities have been on the Sudestada´s Choice ARMY server.

I've never to my knowledge met a Russian in DayZ, then again I play strictly on US servers.

Im not trying to be ignorant but when i ran into the a Polish person awhile back in real life i asked them if they were Russian because they have those SUPER thick accents. So it would be even harder for me to tell in game lol.

Most of my encounters have been with jackass 8 or 12 year old kids with mildly to extremely squeaky voices running to me and bashing my head in. So hardly anyone from the Russian area.
