[0.60] are better FPS a result of 200% render resolution?

Recommended Posts

I am asking because I've managed to change the render resolution to 100% and the overall framerate is now as bad as in 0.59

I am not quite sure how to take this

Set this up in DayZ.cfg

Render_W=3840;
Render_H=2160;

Um.. you're doing something wrong.

Mine got better when I finally fixed the 200% rendering. Logic says anyone's would if that is all you adjusted.

Rules of physics and logic don't apply to this game. ;)

You got me there.. I suppose even normal computer engineering does not apply in any way once you say it involves dayz.

No, because my FPS stayed the same after fixing it. Also, it's just a visual bug. :P

No thats not it. I changed mine to 100% and when I got in to play for the first time just earlier I noticed a huge increase in fps in certain areas. I upped the antialiasing and such a bit but then it went down. I saw 167 fps at one point which has never ever happened before. I did however notice a lot of flickering and textures going on and off and when this is fixed I believe the framerates will get even better. Its quite a feat actually to have accomplished this so hats off to the devs.

damn mine is fixed at 100%, I really would like to render at 200% instead of using AA at default 2560 x 1080, that being said and done even using high AA at 100 percent resolution  I got a pretty solid constant 60fps which impressed me when I finally got into the game for an hour or so tonight, impressive, most impressive (everything set v'high, no clouds)
