you need an barrel and fertilizer in it to tann pelts, the "old" version with gardenlime/fertilizer without barrel didnt work anymore

If u want you can dye leather as well, use nails for black and bark for brown. The only thing that i was not able to dye was the leather canteen. Haven't tried any other color for now.

Yooo matey, what bark did you use? So far I harvested birks, oaks etc etc and only ever got "BARK". Plain bark. And it did nothing to my leather sack.

Adding nails colored my leather sack "black" (its actually brown, not black).

On that note, have you managed to color the entire leather clothing set black and can you make a screenshot? Pleeeaaasee? I wanna see it badly.

I used the ''Bark'' for brown, I dyed the entire set i had brown, I tested black with the backpack and it worked, Still have a few leather at camp will try to dye it black and post a pic when i get time.

My backpack looks like this, but I want it to look like the hat :/ is yours looking like that too? and I would love to see brown clothing or even black if you can.

But the picture illustrates the current problem, the backpack is listed as "black" but its actually brown. the hat is also listed as "black" and is black.

Thanks for showing off the crafted stuff. Always like seeing that kinda thing!

Has the shadow bug been fixed for the crafted pieces?

I seem to recall that you could see a player inside a building if they had the chest piece equipped (the shadows were glitched and extended through buildings)

Similar shade of "black" as the raincoats then.

Hey guys, nice work with that leather outfit! Two questions here:

1) Can someone describe exactly what you need to do in order to bleach/colour clothes? I managed to do it once, but when I tried to repeat the process (armbands into a barrel, add disifectant, close lid), it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong/

2) Where do you get your leather? Several hours in 0.58 and I still can't find a single wild animal (I caught a rabbit, tho).
