Server Specific Characters

So recently I had played Ark a lot and on Ark they have server specific characters.  I believe if this were to be implemented it would help keep server pops up because to play players have to return to the server their character is on unless they want to start a new one.  This would also kill server hopping for loot and would prevent players from switching servers to server hop into people's bases if and when that is implemented.

So, basically, you are telling me if one server fails to restart or gets DDOS'ed, I can't play on my character? No thanks. If you want private hive, there are plenty of server with private hive.

Im a big Private Hive player, the playerbase is a little more stable, and no server hoppers, however I don't think it should be limited to that, for the exact reason JustCaused mentioned. We have what we want, we can stick to what we like. No need to take something away from someone else when theirs a separate option already existent.

I only play on private hives. Better community, no server hopping, no ghosting and many have active admins who are able to get rid of hackers or at least warn players that a hacker is active. I recommend you give them a go since it sounds like exactly the thing you're asking for. Let the scrubs play on public. Let the fools have their tar-tar sauce.

Yep. I recommend private hives to everyone.. theres really no reason to complain about hoppers and the like when there is private hives.. so much less bullshit involved
