Got to look right at each individual plant and it's a relatively small "sweet spot".

Don't forget to add a little Garden Lime as fertilizer for a better yield too.

Thought it just sped up the process?

In .58 with a barrel you can make a commercial bag of lime out of plant material and fish guts through some 55gal sorcery.

Quite possibly/probably.  I've only gardened ingame once and I used it.

Yeah, I play a multiplayer game just to avoid people like RL so gardening is kinda my thing.

I garden in real life. It's tastier.  ;)

I only eat simulated fruit and vegetable flavors in real life.

I was a gardener in game at one point and I was under the impression it simply sped up the process too but yield would be a nice, tangible benefit. I have been looking forward to being able to make my own fertilizer (and also depending on gardening for food) and have some use of the plant material. Surprised we haven't been able to use it as a degradable ghillie suit too!

I find this new shoulder camera is not helping either. It's even harder than before to get a fix on anything in 3rd person. Takes at least a bit to get used to. Even in first person I sometimes find it fiddly, to e.g. check someone's pulse and bandage him. Especially when you shoot them on a hill and they glide down on it unscounsciously evading your every effort to keep them alive. I've always played Arma in Third person and first person mix, so I'm not changing my playstyle. But I wish a few things were more accessible in the menus.
