With the right decisions, DayZ can become very big under the non casual standard type of gamers. 

 

It could actually become the new WoW at some point, where realism among the users prevail.

Plus this game is being ported to consoles. I've only been primarily on PC for about a year now, so I think I can say this with a measure of certainty: consoles gamers, particularly the hardcore shooter fans, are gonna lose their shit when this game hits their respective platforms. Nothing like this has ever been available to them before.

I agree. And it's not that far off in a way.

 

There may be quite a big PR job to be done to recreate the buzz of the initial alpha release, and get that very large number of people to come back to the game. I wonder how far ahead BI have thought about all that?
