Hidden Stash/Cache Burried

When base building and everything else comes to a stable point, it would be cool if you could make a secret stash next to a tree or anywhere. The things you would need is a small lock box (or wood from a tree to make a box), a shovel (either the garden or combat shovels), and a location to place it, maybe even take bark from trees and grass or leaves to help conceal it even better. What do you guys think?

This is a very good idea, like in the mod you can dig stashes, a backpack on the ground is too visible and can easily be found.

Great idea! Really love it. That way your base is not 100% safe, but you can hide some gear you don't want stolen.

I could have sworn I remembered reading somewhere that this is already part of the official plan for the base/camp-building mechanic of the game. Even after a bunch of searching, I cannot for the life of me find where I read it  :| I'm thinking Twitter maybe, but that's much harder to search.
