Bororm 1156 Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) I don't really understand your point. Either way, the article talks about professional testers and developers. Professional testers report even the tiniest bugs as long as they haven't been reported before (at which point you are right not to report them too). Whether or not they're being fixed is the matter of priorities and severity of the bug as I said before. Doesn't say professional testers any where in the part I was referring to, though I wouldn't doubt they'd get discouraged too to a point if they were reporting bugs constantly that weren't addressed. People aren't robots, and professional testing is a pretty crappy job with bad pay from what I've heard. My point is you can't just dismiss the entire thing because you personally don't agree with it, when the evidence is right there that some of the points are indeed valid, especially wasting time on talking about the same bugs over and over. hellcat420 212 Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) Oh another game dev expert. Go on kid tell me that firt you add stuff and then you fix it.Well compared to you I'm a game dev expertSince you are so much fucking smarter than the rest of us why don't you tell us why its better to fix stuff that will get broken later when more features are added? Last time I checked wasting time fixing stuff that's gonna possibly be broken again later is a waste of time and money and it slows down development. Bororm 1156 Posted June 27, 2015 I think there's an issue here where the excuse of "things are going to change so fix it later" gets used as a blanket statement for all things in the SA. There are bugs that could and should be fixed when they pop up. And a lot of them are! But not all of them are, and making excuses for it doesn't help anyone.

Bugs could and should be fixed now? Why, because you say so? Are you retarded? The only time bugs SHOULD be fixed is when the game is in beta or later. All of the content that's planned for DayZ is not in yet. It's been said a thousand times that you can't fix everything when there's still content to come. What's wrong? Has your patience run out? If you can't stick it out through the whole development of DayZ, then you're wasting everyone's time with your whining and complaining. Send bug reports and leave the development to the developers. You know, the guys that know what it takes to develop a game? Yea, those guys.
emuthreat 2837 Posted June 27, 2015 Wasn't this the dedveloper appreciation thread? Maybe we need a new experimental patch to get this discussion moving back in the right direction.
