How hard should DayZ be?

Recommended Posts

This is why many people prefer games like H1Z1 as they are fast and simplistic (in comparison) and many folk do want that. Thats fine.

If you want a deeper survival experience, well, thats what DAYZ will become.

The game isnt even finished. They plan on making there version of the game just as hard if not maybe even harder. Its an early access title so allot will change just like Dayz will. Common Orlok, you should know this.

Hello there

When I say simplistic, I don't mean that as a bad thing.

I *have* stopped following H1Z1 development as it was progressing down avenues I personally wasn't fond of, so any changes in its direction I wont be aware of.

Now as to the simplistic, I equate that as to a comparison analogous to comparing Arma to Battlefield.

They're both fine games and on the surface are similar, but one cannot say they are equal. The BF series, to me is a "Simplified" "faster" version of the Arma series.

Does that make the *bad* or unpopular? No.

H1Z1 isnt for me and if I wanted to point out it's flaws as I see them I could rather easily. But calling it "simplistic", to me, IMHO is fine and correct in the terms Im framing it.

Perhaps I should have quantified it a little more in my original post though.

I *am* in the market for a simplistic "easy to get into" DAYZ clone myself, just H1Z1 isnt it, my focus is now on Miscreated which my or may not turn out well.
