MAK90 8 Posted April 10, 2015 Public servers are dead. Just today every pub server had 0-4 people. Meanwhile the private servers are thriving. What that tells me is that the majority of people want to play when there's loot. And then they want to stock up and PVP. Wonder if even all the private servers go dark when persistence is activated on them.Devs should take notice. Give the people what they want and not what you want. Bigbadchuck 97 Posted April 10, 2015 You didn't look very hard. A full page of full pop public servers. And .55 is the best to date. You don't speak for anyone but yourself.
jubeidok 495 Posted April 10, 2015 If you gave people want they want, all games would be a game where you load in, press a button and everyone else in the game dies followed by a screen that says "YOU WIN!!!" in gargantuan letters with lots of bling. Who cares what you want. Earn it.
Conrad_The_Comrade 577 Posted April 10, 2015 Hey, let those people do what they want, if they can get it, let them. But once the harder changes roll in for every single server, you either learn to thrive or get yourself a new game to play
ASTINvlogs 44 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) This thread is retarded.I just struggled to get into a max 50 server and another max 40 server. Had to wait about 10 minutes of clicking restart till I finally got in. Edited April 10, 2015 by ASTINvlogs

ToySmokes 116 Posted April 10, 2015 Devs should take notice. Give the people what they want and not what you want. They do the game how they want it, not how you want it. DayZ is supposed to be a harsh game/sim set in a post-apocalyptic world were nothing is forgiving. There are other games out there like H1Z1 or Miscreated that is going for a bit more forgiving gameplay-style. If you want easy, don't play DayZ and that is it. -Cactuz
BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted April 10, 2015 Public servers are dead. Just today every pub server had 0-4 people. That is a blatantly false statement, I played today and had countless populated in the 40s-50 pub servers to choose from. So that completely undermines the rest of your argument.
MAK90 8 Posted April 10, 2015 Strange that I haven't seen any pub servers even remotely full. Sorry didn't mean to rustle the feathers of the people that want a game where all you do is run thru the forest and hunt rabbits.

Pyongo Bongo 235 Posted April 11, 2015 I do not see how public servers being empty means the majority of people want to stock up and play PvP LOL, PvP with the intend of plain killin of other survivors, or for "feeling the action" seems ingorant or atleast egoistic to me! (is that how you spell egoistic? lol)

I hunt something that can defend itself. Well, let me check myself. Sometimes I hunt Bambi but that's not hunting. That's when I need to brush up on my moving target skills. The hunting I do is for players that are armed with something that goes bang. If I see someone with only an axe, usually I'm pretty generous. Also if someone does kill me, they get stacks of chow cause I carry food all over the place a lot of it.

boneboys 7988 Posted April 11, 2015 Bit of a drop, nothing to write home about and lets face it those that have left are probably not suited to DayZ as it's meant to be. Server hoppers are having a hard time, groups gearing up and hoarding also. Loot is not so much of a problem if determined to survive, zombie attack is causing more trouble if the player gets caught out. Private Hives are waiting for a fix. Public servers appear to be functioning, although no doubt there will be some fine tuning in the future. Exp 0.56 will be interesting. I listen to the people.
