0.55 Sick for at leat 6 hours in game

Hi

 

After killing a cow and eating the meat, i became sick...

I try evertything : charcotabs, antibiotics, 3 three saline bags, drinking until i vomit....

After six hours ingame at eating and drinking a little each time i'm still sick

 

So several asks :

- why i became sick ? i killed the cow, then i eat the meat and i see "my mouth looks weird...."

- how can i cure it? Before 0.55 i had been sick several times and no problem, but this time.....

You can't eat raw meat. You need to cook it first.

 

Either use a gas stove or create a camp fire, add the cooking tri-pod and place the meat in a cooking pot, then watch out so it doesn't burn!  :thumbsup:

Same problem here!!I eatet a worm because i had nothing to eat xD...became sick and eatet charcotabs,painkillers...sick for 4hours now and it doesent go away....???!

Well you haven't either died in that 6h so the sickness is pretty mild or you've already cured it and the status is bugged. Just play more and report back your status.

you actually can...i ate 1 chicken and 2 cows worth of meat raw cause i was starving....i did not get sick.

 

On a new character i ate 1 deer worth of meat raw, i also did not get sick.

Last time i ate guts i had to vomit 5-6 times and i got rid of sick status.

Status came back after i got energize on other food, which was weird, but it dissapeared again in a matter of seconds.

It's probably not the cow. Sounds like cholera. Did you drink pond water?

It used to be that you always got sick when eating things raw, I think now it's just a chance.

If it's a chance it's an incredibly low one. I've eaten upwards of 30 human steaks since .55 dropped and not gotten sick once. I also haven't developed Kuru. Honestly, the chance of getting sick from raw meat should probably start out somewhat low, because the meat is still hot, and then increase as it cools off and bacteria have a chance to set in. Maybe human meat should make you more likely to be sick because it's more likely to carry pathogens that you can serve as a host for. Raw fish shouldn't really be a problem at all.

It sure is! It cooks food super fast and you can even do it in your backpack!

You can get sick from drinking lake or stream water, so if you try to drink till you vomit make sure you do it at a pump

Only pump water or rainwater is clean

 

If you stay at a pump the time you need to drink until you vomit, you'll probably get shot before you finish. :)

Check WebMD. Sounds like a brain tumour. Possibly progeria. Eat some tactical bacon and check back in 3 days.
