I`ve recently started playing again after a few months... and i cant find anyone where is like the hot spot for pvp??

With gear spawns being changed, everyone is forced to head further inland unless they wanna die of starvation. I don't think there is any hotspots right now. I just came from a full 50/50 server, and didn't see a single person, or hear s ingle shot when doing the usual Kamy > Elektro > Cherno > Ballota run.

Huh... kinda sounds like a survival game now doesn't it?

 

If you all want PvP well a lot more games do it better and faster for the impatient.

In last version I ran into a decent amount of players to the West (Prison island --> Balota --> Pavlovo --> Zelenogorsk). Haven't played 0.55 much yet.

I was just thinking how I hate how a KoS player can call himself a "survivor" and everyone agrees.

 

Just like they define bandit as a murderer and not someone who robs people.

 

PvP gun battles will not be the central game play element once all the rest of the features are implemented.

I gotta say, that I agree with BioHaze, because I see DayZ as a Zombie survival simulator! And yes I know the word "simulator" is probably not very accurate...But DayZ is the closest to that since it has a great emphasis on realism, and when I play a game that tries to be as realistic as possible, then I normaly it play as realistic as possible as well. (mostly at least ^^)

Let's be honest: When a zombie apocalypse would accour and you would be one of the few survivors, do you really think you would participate in gunfights? Probably not, but then again, in reality there wouldn't be many people that would kill other people without an extremely good reason since every survivor could be a valuable companion ^^

 

I can understand that this update is a bit harsh, since you really have to fight zombies and hunger to survive and I think this will get a little better since I've heard that persistence is not functioning entirely as intended (which is one of the causes for so few loot) but I personaly like it quite a bit, since it's a real challenge but absolutely possible to survive, when you know more of the map, than the coast and the NWAF ^^

daaamn i was just asking couse i havent play in months i know the game isn`t a pvp game but at the current state finding food or the zombies arent`t a real treat there are like 5 zombies in elektro so yeah when the game is finished probably i would need to try to find people to survive but not a this point so play the game the way you want and i will play the way i want :D peace
