Those wrap-around PMM grips disgust me, looks like someone tried to turn a 65-year pistol into a tactical accessory.From what I can tell by looking at it, it SHOULD be able to attach standard Wooden/Bakelite Makarov PM grips, to give us the look of that classic DayZ Mod pop gun once again. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Or better yet what about a unique variant? Mullraugh 1151 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Those are bakelite grips. Same thing the soviets made AK-74 mags from. Had asbestos in it. The stocks and foregrips were usually made of bakelite too. Besides it would require redoing the model for a part which is covered by your character's hands and even if they did that it would still look wrong with that angular slide. I wouldn't even call this instance a "fix", as it's just people asking for wood grips because it looks aesthetically better to them. As Gews pointed out, you'd be only "breaking" it by putting these on there, as PMM pistols weren't made for wooden grips and the .380 IJ-70s aren't produced like that at all. I'm simply refering to them as Wooden as they are (Atleast, i've read) meant to resemble wood and most people who would read this thread would be like, "whaddy-yut, you want to add more plastic grips to the makarov?" I want that.That would be fine by me, but I've never seen a .380 Makarov with the wood-colored grips, they have black ones. that's why i'm suggesting attachable grips.
