Weyland Yutani (DayZ) 1159 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) One of our colonists made this suggestion to me... Put a full map on the side of the stalls at bus stations that can't be taken down. When a player accesses the map it should show a point on the map that says: 'You Are Here.' It would give a realistic effect to the environment. boneboys 7988 Posted March 17, 2015 Been suggested before fyi but I do support the idea.
Santa fox 53 Posted March 17, 2015 Not sure if there would be much of an point, given the DayZ map and such, don't think i've ever seen a bus station with a map marker where you are, either.
umberfive 89 Posted March 17, 2015 I support that idea too. Although online maps exist, it destroys the gameplay.
Bab 20 Posted March 17, 2015 Thing is, for meta online map use to disappear, the implemented system would need to be good enough that players might not be so inclined to use the online map. Don't know if your idea is the right solution but I'm all for more location indicators.
sneakydudes 278 Posted March 17, 2015 how about bringing buses to the game since they are all over laptino etc..
FlimFlamm 509 Posted March 17, 2015 I like the idea, personally I would never need it escept for some obscure northern areas, but this will make the world much more accessible for new players. It's a good idea.
