agreed 100%. I like this weapon but where should it spawn maybe adding German helicopter crashes spawning these weapons maybe, a g3 battle rifle, VP 70,mp 5,mg 3, and some German grenade I'm just suggesting what can spawn there if a German crash comes in.

 

The VP 70 would be a logical civilian weapon, and it's stock. Nice three round burst pistol and dated so it's IP wouldn't be an issue.

 

 

As far as German Heliwrecks, the CH-53D has hardpoints that often carry M2s (M3s,GAU16s?) and would be a good pick up point for people trying to build technicals.

Thought the VP 70 was used by the German forces I suggested the German helicopter because of how much guns Germany uses and it be logical sense to add it instead of putting g3 rifles or mg 3s at american crashes. Anyways thnx for summing it guy.

-1, why would they drop weapons in a random post soviet state? I can see it spawning at crashes rarely, thats it

 

in the mod there were occasionally carepackages that spawned random loot and could spawn guns. the story behind them was that they were mis-dropped and were intended for ground troops upon the infection starting.

I would love to see a G36 in game, always been one of my favorite rifles, and I can't think of a apocalypse type game without one. Just not the shortened version, please, it looks fugly.

I think a better route would be to have bundeswehr equipment lined up at random areas. The Dayz devs can take the wrecked "Strider" Armored car and alter ito to make it look like the real life Fennik:

 

 

Throw in some flecktarn,G3 variants, and a G36 and call it a day.

We have pink deringers, pink balaclava's and can place fishing hooks in friggin boonie hats.. why cant we have a G36 ? German chopper crash site is also a rad idea. Crash sites of aiding countries is a great idea

German chopper crash is almost as logical as a having a Lamborghini spawn. I don't have the exact numbers in mind, but the German army only has like 3-9 helicopters able to fly in their current equipment.

Why does everyone want a g36c? I assume because it was featured in in multible COD titles. The g36c is just used by special forces like KSK and GSG9 in urban environment.

The standard infantry g36 has a 3x scope combined with a reddot in its carryhandle. It would be so much better than the g36c.

I don't see the point of this ingame it looks awesome but I'd rather have the fal of full length m16.

 

The FAL is already confirmd and the m16 yould just require slighty modded textures and model, no different sound and reloading annimations, it could use all m4 attachements and mags besides the handguard

Besides you the only person to mention the G36C was the OP and he just listed it as an example of one of the variants they could add.

 

The standard or V variants would obviously be much better, though in the end a G36 really would be just for variety considering there are already a few other 5.56 ARs, including one with a standard optic (AUG), and the G36 doesn't use STANAGs as standard (Although some can, and the AUG usually doesn't either IRL but it does in game, so I guess that's not exactly a factor.)

 

But yeah, I doubt having the FN FAL or an M16 would detract from the game considering an M16 would take less work than other guns no matter what variant they chose (Even an M16A1 or M16A2 would still be able to reuse the M4A1's lower receiver and magazines, and technically stocks, although an A1 with a MAGPUL stock would be weird) and the FN FAL is a different type of rifle entirely.

couldn't say it any better though if they want to have this in(I'd rather have the g3 battle rifle)why not put a german heli crash site that spawns this weapon, g3, some HK pistol,mg 3,mp 5, and some german grenade.

As stated previously just put them in a nato crash site. It doesn't need to be german specific. I'd rather see the full version as well (or a g36k), considering we can use both sets of optics.

 

 

That being said, the vp70 is capable of burst fire, and thus is illegal in most countries.

 

 

Also, the SLR-8 is super rare. I saw one at a gunshop where it was being repaired, it wasn't even for sale. Retail is in the thousands. Honestly, I'd rather buy a sig and call it good.
