We were having a good time holding NW Airfield the past few nights. If anyone sees us in game know that we are helpful and will not kill you on sight (unless you attack first). We share loot and usually farm out buildings and leave big piles of weapons around for anyone to take from! Happy hunting out there!

One guy came all the way north with his winchester and left with a M4A1 CCO and 5 clips of ammo.

Hopefully that got him off to a good start in DayZ.

Hopfrog, all a meeting is, is just catching people up on the status of the unit, getting ideas, making promotions and such. Usually every 2-3 weeks at night on the weekends. Nothing bad at all

Nah, it's cool. I should probably gain a bit more experience with DayZ before I join any major group. I appreciate the offer to work things out, but hey, it's only a year.

UPDATE ON THE CQF: The group has been wandering through the infection torn countryside. Many survivors have joined the cause, our HQ established and a frequently patrolled zone is cordonned off. The Russian Government has expressed that it needs more highly trained soldiers as well specialists in the following areas: Scavenging, mechanics, medical and scouting. We will be posting up announcements in towns as we pass through them.

Eventually we plan to establish a basic formation of government in order to help re-establish control over the zone. Comrades, we need your help, come find our camp and apply.

P.S I noticed that here on DayZ, the age requirement of joining CQF is 17 years, but on your website it's 16 years. A mistake, or is it due to DayZ perhaps being a more "graphic" game?

Winged Ninja, website requirements were posted for 1stCav. Info here is for joining the CQF.

When found, CQF was positioned a little aside from 1stCav to make sure whether there is a point in developing it further (if the unit will grow) or to keep it like a small unit for DayZ (if number of recruits will be small).

This was made also because ArmA was not a 1stCav primary game.

Hey I'm interested in joining you guys too. I already played once or twice on the same server as CQF members and they seemed like a fiendly bunch.

I'm only about a week into DayZ but I really dig the game. However I'm somewhat tired of everybody killing each other all the time and want to see some teamwork.

I'm moving to a new house right now but everything should be up and running in a couple of days, including a headset and such. I'm playing in EU time zone (CEST+1).

Lads, keep your servers up and running, i saw them bugging out and staying like that for to much. Also, i never seem to really see you guys laying on your own eu servers, why is that?
