What new items do you want to see In the near(ish) future?

Bug fixes, optimization, performance, etc. all the things the community constantly wants take time and lots of effort to get fully implemented due to their nature. Items on the other hand are a bit more simple. Not saying that creating a balanced new gun is any easier than improving the AI but it does take a smaller group of individuals. New items are constantly being added so looking beyond .54 what do you (the community) want to see being added to the game in terms of new items.

simple quick items/changes would be improvised crossbow bolts, paintable improvised vests, and craftable camo tarps. One change I would love to see is the ability to carry two range weapons instead of the melee shoulder and range shoulder system in the game now.

oh baby oh baby. there are a TON of items i would LOVE in this game. just that most of them are dumb.. like.. invade russia sort of dumb.

1. Umbrella, this ultimate gentlemans weapon and also practical tool for when you just can't seem to find a raincoat would make my day.
2. Tarp, catch all that rain for your belly, or make a nice tent for yourself, comes in green, black or brown.
3. Fire drill, butcher some shoes for the lacing, and you are now the god of fire.
4. Thermos, keep that soup warm for when you are dying of hypothermia.

5. Notebook, more than a single page to write down the story of your spawn.
6. Russian style fur hat. because imaginary post soviet republic.
7. Whistle, for long distance signaling, or sweet raves.
8. Asthma medication, because lets face it, we all need it real bad.
9. Wristwatch. to get that swagger on with the ladies.
10. Unique sailor shirt only found at Rify, I'd be donald ducking all over chernarus.
11. Summertime clothing, namely, sandals (with socks in them) short-shorts and hawaii-shirts.
12. Assless chaps, pants for your pants, protects you from the z, and also matches the riders jacket.

More guns. Heavy weapons. Explosive weapons and items. Many more vehicles incl whirly birds. And more guns, so many different guns that seeing the same one twice requires a lot of looking.

 

Examples include:

FN FAL (I think this is already on the list?)

A skorpion (why is this not in the game already, should have been one of the first weapons)

An M40 rifle

Heavy machine guns, mountable tripods and the ability for them to pull straight out of ammo boxes.

Different variations and sizes of the Uzi

Grenade launcher attachments with various grenade types. (Illum, stun, gas, HE, etc)

High cap shotguns

.50 BMG rifles (Beowolf, Barret M82, Steyr HS)

Mortars

Anti-Vehicle heavy weapons (javelins, RPGs etc)

C4 and other explosives

A sexy benelli shotgun or something

An oldschool tommy gun (to go with the tracksuit and skullcap, should also make your character sound italian)

Grenades that actually work

A working hind and blackhawk

Light tanks and armored vehicles

An ice cream truck

I voted "other" because I would like to see these game mechanics added as well as the items needed for them :

•Ability to climb trees

•Ability to climb through windows

•Ability to catch things that are thrown

•Extendable ladders To get on rooftops :)

•Firetrucks placed around chernarus with not only high pressure hoses (don't know how or if they would still work) and huge extendable ladders, and maybe eventually the trucks would be drivable

•Mechanics to be able to gain muscle so our characters can get ripped in their free time and benefit from all the endless running (this might be long shot I know but imagine lol)

•When alcohol is implemented , the capability to grow, harvest, and brew hops and other herbs needed to make beer (and maybe hard alcohols with other ingredients and appliances)

•Marijuana seeds added (come on guys we've been pussyfooting around this for far too long :) ) <--- take this one as you will, I would just love to see this as a trade heavy mechanic (acting as currency for it's recreational purposes , or treated as painkiller for it's medicinal purposes).

•When fire is reworked and can spread , we need the ability to soak our rag-wrapped arrows in some type of flammable liquid, so that we can light up soft flammable targets from a distance (maybe into a barn to scorch the insides of it killing zombies or humans alike)

•Charcoal (or gas) grill added (we need BBQ sliderZ)

•Ability to fish from the ocean (lemme at 'em)

•Lightning should strike the ground or objects ocassionally

• visible sea life (most likely further down the road)

Lots of other mechanics I would like to see added for immersion and for crafting and fluidity , I can't wait to see how the game progresses because I know a lot of fun stuff is already planned .

Light disposable anti tank/personnel weapons for destruction of light vehicles, bunkers, and fixed emplacements. Think RPG-18/22.

 

Uniforms for each faction from ArmA 2.

 

A light pickup truck.

 

Fixed weapon mounts and weapon resting.

Have animal lard be usable as insulation in improvised clothing and for fuel.

Have animal guts be used as rope for making backpacks as well as bows/fishing rods.

More V3S's spawning with a back, at least a flatbed. I have found 4 today, and all had an empty back.

Less towns.

More places for tents to spawn than on roofs.

Tarps, ropes, sticks to craft tents.

Ability to refine logs into planks using an ax.

Get more logs from a tree.

Add nails.

Use ten planks, nails, and a hammer to make crates, which store 20 slots.

Use four planks, nails, and a hammer to make a two meter long fence, which you could put a cow in.

Milking cows.

Barricading doors with two planks, nails, and a hammer.

Have fires be able to have more than five minutes burn on a single log.

No persistence wipes every Wednesday.

Add bikes.

Add an SUV.

Add a small commuter's car.

Add a pickup.

 

 

And most importantly, Less lag. At least 5x less.
