PSO1 Scope Spawn Locations (share your experience)

Having tons of trouble finding a PSO1 scope on a public servers .53 stable.  Any help would be appreciated.

One word: Barracks.

 

It's the only place I know it spawns. (100% sure)

 

Either the 4 barracks at Pavlovo military base, the 2 at Zelenogorsk, the 3 at Veresik military base, the 2 at the NWAF, the one at the military base north of Severograd, or the one on the prison island.

those 3 story buildings, always in rows in the bigger cities. the ones with the big open top floor. i found 2 the other day on shelves located in the narrow corridor near the back door on the ground floor. pre-0.53 i remember finding them on the top floor and sometimes in the rooms in the middle floor as well

PSO-1 scope ONLY spawns inside long barracks in military bases. A lot of people seem to confuse the PSO-1, which is very rare, with the PU scope, which is common and found in various civilian locations. The scopes are totally different btw...

 

Your best bet is to find one on the top bunk bed of the last bedroom. But they can spawn anywhere in the barracks.

 

Looking anywhere else is futile i believe. I have not found one in 0.53 either; but i found 3 in 0.52, all in previously mentioned location.

.53 is very much alive with pso1 scopes. Just not supper common like most items in .53 build.

Check the barracks there like the same rarity as flashbangs, grenades, ak 101 mags(maybe I'm wrong I've only found one), and hi cap vests(these are little more common. You need to look hard and make sure no one has looted there except you. I'm still looking for an m4 and maybe Steyr I had a fnx giving to me w a mag and found an amphibia s about two weeks ago I usually find a pso1 scope when looking for crashes.PS me and my buddys found a 300 rd box and pm 73 rak mag and in one mi8 crash but we were just lucky my first mi8 had a pso1 scope so check there to.

I have consistently found High Cap vests in the barracks just north of Veresnik.  I've also found some in the military tent camps at the top of NWAF as well as the military tent camp west of Myshkino.

yeah i've been finding high caps all the time north of severograd myself. they seem to be very common in barracks. 

 

 

for the record the military camps with tents are most likely to spawn clothing over anything else.

The military base just north of..........Kamenka I think it's called?  The most South-Western base that's not attached to a city.  Found it in the barracks that was furthest away from the other two in the base.  It was under a backpack so I almost missed it...be sure to check thoroughly.  :)

Would you trade that RAK mag for something you need? I really want it.

OT: PSO spawns at long barracks, MI8 crash sites and sniper nest at NWAF/Myshkino base. (Unsure about sniper nests though, loot tables might have changed)
