just got this and so far i have to say its awesome, getting a bit annoyed being KOS even on non KOS servers and think something should be done. anyway my ideas

 

1 - instead of kos players can hand combat with the winner allowed to take one thing from the loser

2 - health shown in the corner all the time so you know how close to death you are.

3 - open wardrobes or force them open.

4 - sleep in a bed to recover. like go to bed before you exit server etc.

5 - loot on some zombies, they are not naked so would have something even if just clothing.

6 - jump down 6 feet and die?? yes it can happen IRL, but every time cmon!!

7 - Starting the game healthy, hydrated and energized would be better

8 - hover mouse pointer over player tells you their name

9 - spawn where you die or very close to it

10 - reduce the ability of a zombie seeing me from 4 miles away (exaggeration)

11- reduce the speed of the zombies, never seen zombies move so fast

 

I apologize if these have been said i have looked but there is so many i might have missed them, keep up the awesome work.

Firstly, Welcome to the forums :)

 

Most, probably all have been suggested,  next time use the search function. unlike the other guys above i do like some suggestions such as:

 

opening wardrobes and possible looting of zombies, but as i have said, these have been suggested before, and i wish too they would reduce the speed of zombies or damage they give, hopefully soon :)

Let's take it from the the top...

 

1- You mean like a bras de fer?

2- No bars,they take away from the immersion

3- World Containers are coming Q2 on the roadmap.Exciting isn't it? :)

4- I made a suggestion like that in the past,it's kinda awesome to have it ingame.

5- Yes,but only small tier items,like pens,matches,etc..

6- I agree this needs tweaking+a falling animation

7- We should spawn starving,more challenging that way :D

8- Nope,hovering names are too arcady for a game like DayZ.

9- Why? So you can run back to your body faster?

10- The upcoming new zombie AI will probably fix that.

11- No they add to the challenge,also expect the survivor's speed is going to get nerfed when stamina makes it ingame.

You need to try warz or h1z1 I think buddy.. the only acceptable idea I see here is the wardrobe thing and zombie not seeing you from so far away :D

how? spawning near death spot not for gear, lose it its not the gear i am normally heading somewhere and re-spawning on the other side of the map throws it all out when you have a plan. every game starts healthy and fit you just have to stay like it. even more what does survival have to do with mouse pointer on person displaying their name make it not survival lol
