grooovy 0 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) This guy : ********************REMOVED******************We had 4 guys in our group, we never heard any shots, we just all went unconscious, all our bodies parts broke, then he appeared in front of us and started spamming in his microphone.We confronted him on steam chat : ********************REMOVED******************even has screenshots of himself duping gear : ********************REMOVED******************He goes and admits cheating with hacks, real pathetic. Not that you can verify who it is, when it is from, or what server it is on and/or if it is photoshopped. But if legit, picture is pretty damning. Rammur 59 Posted January 3, 2015 This post isnt as bad as most the posts they seem to frown at when you complain about the hackers with littlw to no proof because the hackers feed on the attention it gives them and the devs wont say much because if they do it give the hackers a chance to avoid future anti cheats. VAC ban wont get rid of them on dayz however that only really works on vac enabled games i dont think vac really up and running on dayz so its better to give the report directly to the dayz guys so they can ban his gui. grooovy 0 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) it's the same freaking username on steam, you can check the username history he changed it recently, he removed his comments in his profile and removed all the screenshots he had. I kept bugging him because my group stream and records video. It's not the first time i get killed by a hacker and everybody who shared the same experience knows the feeling when it happens, you die just out of no where don't hear any shooting and just go unconscious...etc all bodie parts just go nuts and break.... We had 4 dude in my group fully geared with ak101, gorka helmets, gorka uniform, we were all hidding in different spots and we all died instantly... I sent a message on the bohemia support with all the evidence I gathered, I usually don't make a big deal it out of it but recently it's been bugging me more and more and pissing me off. Tonight was just the tip of the iceberg, just really pissing me off a full group of 5 players getting killed by one dude instantly. What a great way to ruin our night... Ill believe that when I see it. But I did send some links to improved tools to the admins. I do hope they take it serious as it checks MD5 etc and server admins can view screenshots and submit them. What a great way to ruin our night...Don't take it too serious, I know I am there with you. However from past experiences you need a heck of a lot more evidence then that. I do believe you. I should have took a screenshot of the thumbnails before he removed them and he got rid of the comments as well but I didn't think about it until now. I'm lucky I actually saved that screenshot on his profile before he removed it. Dude is using a fresh steam profile with 7 free games and 2 paid games (arma 3 + dayz SA)....makes you wonder... I wish I could provide a load of proof but y'all know how it happens, it's just random and you can't never know when it's going to hit you and it's fairly difficult ot prove it unless you're in the hacker chair. He's probably not going to get banned since it's steam but if at least we can get a few reports on his profile they may potentialy flag him eventually.
