2 bird, one stone (multiple z hits)

I dont know if this has been brought up before BUT i would like to know if hitting multiple Zombies with one blow of a weapon is a real possibility.

Because thats what happend to me this morning.

Oke i had allready hit one of the Zs in the shoulder but when i went for a 2nd swing of my sledgehammer I one hitted two Zs and they both went down.

Legit, glitch, sync who knows?

Legit, I scored few double kills in last two months. Melee works great, you can swing with axe almost 180 degrees. Also, helps when zombies hit one another.

It's possible, and with a bit of practice, becomes quite easy! I've been trying for a 3fer, but no success so far.

It really shouldn't happen. All of the momentum of the swing should realistically be transferred to the first infected.

 

Melee needs a HUGE workaround.

I disagree with your momentum bit.

Imo if i swing something like a sledgehammer then it will not stop by one skull.

So i think its more realistic that we CAN do this.

Dont believe me? Line up two mates and hit the first (wide swing plane) really hard with a sledgehammer and see what happens. ;)

The sledgehammer will not go through the skull. Destroy it, pulp it, but not tear right through with enough force to damage another lethally.

 

Melee is Day Z is AWFUL. There is no intertia. IRL, you cannot swing an axe or a sledghammer that fast

Im sorry, but last I checked I can bust two melons with one swing of an axe. Melons also are one of the closest things to a human head, which is why they are shot by the hundreds.

And last time the glass ashtray at the bar met the nose of the guy who took a liking to my girl, it hit his buddy as well on the go around. And no it was NOT desync, as we went staraight out the door without warping back. I got a new ashtray tho :D

Yeah...really hoping in the coming months they overhaul melee. It is absolutely abysmal.
