A Good Tactic?

So I like loot, plain and simple, if I see loot I like, I'll go crazy, but I HATE server hoppers and I would never do it. I would like to go to the military base near Vybor and wait in a bush and kill people who go to loot (they might be server hoppers) so I can get there loot. Opinions?

If you see them spawn in or sit down to log out after doing a search of the military buildings, shoot away.  If they walk/run up there then they are hard workers like you (or KOSers) so leave them alone, in fact you might want to hide in case its the latter...

carry an Izh-43 on your backpack for CQC and go to loot the base and stuff... There are two kinds of build we use. Scavenger and Tank

 

-Scavenger: Black clothing, no armor, silenced pistol, long range rifle, big backpack

-Tank: Full armor, no color requiered, magnum, machine gun, backpack does not matter

 

 

PS: We still carry the Izh for close range

I often log out near military bases. That way, when I log in I can check it. I check it before log out as well. It isn't just hoppers who appear.

But either way, I would be fair game too. Unless you have a specific conversation with them, you can't know the story of a player. But you can still KOS without guilt because that's a military base!

I'll be honest, I have sped up my gearing process by hiding behind the wall near the west barrack at Vybor after closing the doors on relatively empty servers. Server hoppers show up, I move to the blind side, wait for them to exit shoot them with a shot gun.

Like a big lamp, they always come.

I tend to be like a bad sex partner, in and out quickly without anyone noticing! ;)

In my experience I tend to find groups will hit a barracks rather than lone wolves (like myself) so if I spot one I expect to find 3 or 4 following at a close distance so will bail rather than engage.

If you can find me a reputable private server that is 1PP, Persistent, UK (or EU depending on ping) then I'd play on it.

I'll give your server a shot man! I am sort of sick of hoppers and persistence making looting basically impossible.

Ricp: I normally only run into one hopper at a time. Pack hoppers seem rare where I roam!

Hoppers or not I don't loot those bases either way. Just sit and wait for the loot mules to appear.
