It should be possible to have more than 1 character in my opinion.

I don't know if it was suggested before here, but here it's.

And as many as you want on separate private hives.

If they introduce more character slots, it's gonna be like ScamZ, Run all your character to where you intend to do PvP, If one dies, you just relog and faceroll until you win.

You can have more than one by using different gamemodes and private shards.

 

Having more than one character per shard/hive is not a good thing because you can only be active with one basically removing the other characters gear from the game. it would also destroy the impact of death as you can just switch to your other character and possibly even use this to get revenge and/or your gear back.

but cant people willing to just buy a second dayz and set up new steam account have more characters? not saying we should have extra player slots, but i have a feeling that people willing to spend already have a few characters on same server (pay to win :P)
