bobotype3334 160 Posted November 25, 2014 When we have survivalist stuff- tents, scavenging berries, hunting animals, bows and arrows, rivers and snowy wastes- and team stuff- base building, tanks, events and large zombie hordes to clear-will you survive alone, testing yourself against Mother Nature in the wilderness and fighting wolves and bears,or with a group of your bros, taking on big things, stabbing people in the back, slashing up zombies and having fun? Irish. 4886 Posted November 25, 2014 Clans/Groups for the win! This ^. While lonewolfing is fun.. by definition it means you are either an outcast or loner, and that gets boring pretty fast. Briljin 102 Posted November 25, 2014 I started playing with 2 friends, both of who have basically quit at this point (bugs and hacking turned them off of beta) and now a days I am almost always lone world. The game is very different when you go from playing with friends to solo, you have to be more careful because you no longer have someone watching your back. rickyriot 1009 Posted November 26, 2014 I have been a clan player in the past, and have been part of clans at the top of clanbase ladders, but those have been specifically clan games (MoH:AA, CoD) where the maps are small, teams are small and you can't really survive when everyone else is on coms. With DayZ I am very much a solitary player, there are three main reasons for this. In no particular order... 1) The game isn't really at a stage where clans are all that viable. There are clans who play it, but they are not dedicated DayZ clans.2) I'm currently without a mic, no point in team up when you can't communicate.3) I hate people. Avant-Garde 229 Posted November 26, 2014 I like to walk alone because I walk very slowly. When I'm with someone else we usually run everywere and thats a good bullet magnet. I mean, in urban perimeters I just crouch walk and in a squad that could get boring for everyone I think. So I usually lone wolf for the steath value of it. I don't lonewolf because I think I'm "Hot shit", I do it because, being in control is what I like, and being in a group increases the chances of being shot, or maybe I've played with too many idiots.. Shrub Rocketeer ™ 879 Posted November 26, 2014 there is no option for choose the both? becasue i am sometime alone wolf some time i met a frend and play like partner other time i met more frendly player and we maked a team but we was all alone wolf in the begin but i nevr join a clan befor because i prefer to be only boss in my dayz experiance sometime clan member try to say 'hey dont do like this is not way for this clan' or they say sometime 'plese be online for 2 hour evry tusday 8pm or we kick you from clan' so i was left to going again alone wolf who evrytime is find good person and make vary alot of frends Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
