5mirkeh 98 Posted November 20, 2014 Swap the AKM, Sawnoff and Makarov for a Derringer and Mosin AKS-74u for close range combat, Mosin for scouting and sniping and the Derringer is for when you need a hidden weaponOr you can be really patient and use a MP5 or PM73 in place of the AKS-74u Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jukaga 271 Posted November 20, 2014 Ignore him unless you want to snipe. For the survivor on the go, nothing beats a tooled-up AKM. Pistol and/or sawn-off are optional. Derringers are useless toys, all pistols are hidden till you pull them out. Do you want multiple shots or just one? Thought so. If you like sitting in one spot picking off pixels in the distance, by all means carry a Mosin/AKS combo. Drop the 74 whatever you do, it's garbage next to the AKM. The Road Warrior (DayZ) 38 Posted November 21, 2014 I dont see the Need for hoarding weapons really....I wouldn't say I hoard them, but if I can find a spare gun or two, especially handguns I'll pack them for a friend.I used to take any decent weapon I found in my hands if I was already loaded and if I had the time threw it into some bushes or out of it's spawn area. With the last radio, go somewhere high and talk into it. 19 other radio's will shout your challenge around the town as you dare, yes I said dare, anyone to try and take that Makarov, which shot down a helicopter once with one bullet, from your cold, dead hands.... 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
