put it to good use. become a medic. o- blood type is incredibly rare. if you arnt into the whole medic thing, find a medic and donate blood. they would probs give you some good gear, cos it is so rare.

After posting this topic I got killed. It was clear KoS, 2 man server I mean, seriously? The guy's name was Caswallax.  My character literally got spent. I don't care about the gear I lost, gear is recoverable. But O- is not something you can find everyday...

 

I was thinking of donating, but ugh..

 

We killed eachother though, win win for me.

Iv NEVER once had to worry about blood type. They better add some shit latter on where we will have to, because to be honest blood transfusions and collecting blood in general is one of the most UNDERUSED item and features in game right now.

Its still one of the most underused mechanics in game at the moment. Iv never had to worry about blood or anything like that.

As a rule for memorization:

1. O- is the universal donor, can donate to anyone without checking.
2. AB+ is the universal recipient, can receive from anyone without checking.
3. O can transfer to O, A, B or AB
4. A can transfer to A or AB
5. B can transfer to B or AB
6. AB can only transfer to AB
7. (-) can transfer to (-) or (+)
8. (+) can only transfer to (+)

i use it. ive had o- blood once before, in 4.8. was a medic for about 3 weeks. saved lots of lives.

I know but im hoping there is more reason to use rather than just in groups and when your a solo player you cant do anything with it anyways.

nah, sat around in high traffic areas, waiting for gun fights. then i went in and tried to patch people up and not die. gets your heart pumping.

You can regenerate your blood in less than ten minutes when you're energized and hydrated. I haven't bothered with blood bags since the mod. The small amount of blood they restore in the standalone isn't worth the inventory space.
