i have came to the conclusion they are either a. not gonna fix the bug or b.they do it on purpose. now here is why, can u name a better way to make you put way more hours on the game and not get bored. what happens when ur char gets reset u go and find gear for another 3 hours.this issue has been around since dayz alpha was released but they throw new guns and new building and towns while intentionally sliding this under the rug.most people blame it on "its an alpha what do u expect" well i expect them to fix major issues and there not doing it. i literally cant play the game anymore my char has been reset over 20 times i guarentee they know exactly how to fix and what is causing it but yet they do nothing. think about this does your char ever get reset when all you have is some food a baseball bat and a pistol no everytime its when im fully geared.y do you think that is.

When you log into a server as a fresh spawn, log out and go to another server. There's a known bug where the server can't retrieve data from the master hive. It happened to me countless times (more than a hundred...) but each time, I log out of the server, and log to either another server with a different service provider. (Vilayer, Fragnet, Gameservers,...)

 

Never lost any gear do to this, because there are known workarounds. This is an early access work in progress game. You are bound to encounter such bugs and unpolished features such as this.

thx for the idea but i know about hitting esc while the spawn timer is up to see where im at.so if i see im not in the place i was when i log out im bugged.and sometimes yes if i switch servers or even reload server it fixes but more times it erases me.i havnt tried switching game hosts because people told me to stay on certain servers.i feel like iv tryed every option still no success.when i was say it happens everytime when im fully geared i mean as soon as i get literally everything i need to start pvping server crashes or i switch servers and bam all gone. literally created this account 2 hours ago to let off sum steam i agree with the 2nd comment its time for a long break till its fixed i like looting but i like pvping even more.last time it happened a friend who was in game when server reset had all his gear i had nothing.i feel that it should b a top priority and iv seen support tickets from december of last year.i did do some research before coming on here and saying what i think they r doing.dnt know wish my laptob could handle arma 3 wouldnt b here

You should find a game built for PvP that your laptop can handle and you'll never have to worry again.

Before this shit gets yarded ima make a small point...

 

Would it not be more beneficial to have the people STOP playing after the purchase of the game?

They have already payed their money and there are no addons or microtransactions so they WONT make any more money off you then the initial purchase.

So if you continue to play, then you are using their resources to play, therefor making them less money. (right?)

someone told me that if u join the server to quick. like when it resets and is back up check the time and make sure its been up for a minute or two not sure if works but will b trying this
