Character Resets

Yes i know there was a hive reset.

But I am experiencing multiple character resets after every server restart and i dont think i am alone.

Well, at least i hope :D

Anyone have solutions?

I blame d-sync. This has happened to me immediately following the inability to inflict damage on targets or open doors. Should be an easy fix

same thing here it completely breaks the game in the most basic way. gathering loot is pointless because you loose it almost every time you change or restart servers. only having this problem with .49.124971

Same happened to me, but I immediately logged out when I saw I was a fresh spawn, and rejoined the server, and got back to my character. Since 0.49 went to stable, this happened at least 6 times to me. But each time, I was able to get my character back.

To be safe, ensure you are not connecting to severs between the times 8:00AM and 9:20AM. The server may not be connected to the central hive at this time. If you want to completely get rid of this issue. Get access to a private hive of Dayz servers.

I'm having the same problem, i've had my chars reseted before randomly but every time i was a freshspawn and didnt mind. But today i've had my chars ''reset'' more than 6 times and atleast 3 of those times i've fully geared up in Balota, It's annoying to have to gear up every single time. I understand that it's alpha and i enjoy the game and i dont mind the bugs but spending the last 12 hours gearing up then having it reset multiple times aren't that fun. With regards.
