Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted September 7, 2014 You act like we're crucifying him for crying out loud. He's getting his stones crushed a little. OMG, the horror. Let him go to the website he bought the hack from and ask them. All I'm saying is someone comes to the official forums for a game, and asks how to proceed, and instead of accepting his mistakes and just helping the guy, the post get's the whole "Oooooh, Oookay, you're "FRIEND" hacked, eeh, you're a piece of shit, go somewhere else we hate you here". It literally turns into pages and pages of useless comments and people just flaming. For the past two years it's just people coming in, thinkin' they're hot shit, saying the same thing as the last 10 posts, and doing nothing constructive.

bauertschi 254 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) WTF I never have nor ever will hack, so where do you get off saying everybody does that? There is nothing worse than low, base, pathetic little punk bitches that use hacks. As far as I'm concerned they're pussies that need to learn how to play the game honestly and fairly, taking their knocks like everyone else or piss off. If your friend got banned for hacking then good riddance they should ban him from steam too. Just read the post again and again until you figure out just how great it is. Wonderful post, but a little evil, I just could not give beans to such devilish good looks, I mean such a devilish post. Rags! 1966 Posted September 7, 2014 The support in this thread sends quivers of love down my spine. Why can't people just help, instead of being presumptuous. Guy asks about how to get his "friend" unbanned from the game. Only guy who wants to really help him is Canadian.
Baker. 1484 Posted September 7, 2014 Are you fricking kidding me Statik. This ain't some poor sclub that experienced a bug. He's a hacker that has ruined the gaming experience of many. He has the nerve of coming here looking for support? It's a small punishment but let him find the answers on his own. Why don't I help a burglar by giving him my house key. (Exaggeration for effect)No one is saying you have to help the kid but I don't think its your place to enforce any kind of morality on Statik. As far as I can tell he is entitled to contribute to this thread the same as you.
Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted September 7, 2014 You're basically condoning that it's ok to hack because, "Hey, just get a new account and buy the game again"Buying the game again on a different account is no hidden secret. OPs friend wants to have it on his original steam account. That in no way is going to give him some magical power. By sitting here not believing him and just overall being rude to him, isn't exactly going to stop him. Honestly from an extreme POV, if I got banned for hacking, came to the official forums, and was like "Hey, I hacked, I'm sorry, but I want to buy the game again __________" and everyone was like "Hey, you hacked, once, fuck you, you're scum, we hate you here" I wouldn't exactly be more inclined to play the game legit. Actually helping someone get the game back on their original account isn't going to magically let them hack again. IMO, if he wants to hack so bad, then he would just make another account and do that. I wouldn't want a hacked account linked to my original steam account.. twice. All I'm saying is, P.S. Fuck the Eskimos.

Baker. 1484 Posted September 7, 2014 P.S. Fuck the Eskimos. Wayne Gretzky > Lanny McDonald. Plus who knows how old this kid is, maybe he hacked and learned his lesson. Should we all be held accountable for our decisions as 13 year old boys? Jesus I hope not.

RAM-bo4250 213 Posted September 7, 2014 Guy asks about how to get his "friend" unbanned from the game. Only guy who wants to really help him is Canadian. This brings to mind an episode of "How I met your mother" where Robin takes Marshall to a canadian bar in NYC. She purposely bumps into a guy spilling some of his drink. The guy, a Canadian, turns around and apologizes to Robin for being in her way. Hilarious. Stereotypes, go figure. trtk 81 Posted September 7, 2014 He's a hacker that has ruined the gaming experience of many. Pretty huge assumption to make. Plenty of types of cheating don't 'ruin the game experience of many' - what if he just spawned himself some weapons? A whole lot of people have done the equivalent of that, except by duping rather than hacking.
ChainReactor 922 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) Easy stuff imo and no need to make a thread about it here. "Someone" got banned. So it's either a BE or Steam issue. Noone here can solve BE or Steam issues. "Someone" needs to contact the company who filed the ban. "Someone" needs to be patient about that and deliver proof that it was a false positive to the respective company. "Someone" also should not ask for ways to circumvent said ban, since circumventing bans is shit. If you have a problem, solve it rather than simply leave it behind. And if "someone" decides to do so anyway, have the guts to re-buy "someones" 80+ steam games or just move on and leave DayZ behind. Sorry, I didn't intend to sound rude, but cheating and hacking are the worst you could possibly do to online gaming, since it questions the entire online gaming idea. If you made a mistake, stand for it. If not, go ahead and work it out. But still, noone on the forums can help you with that, since the official forums dont ban players from the game. There's practically a new thread everyday of players raging over hackers. I'm not assuming anything. It ruins the playing experience of many. If hackers want to come clean, give up their cheating, and like men, apologize they are welcome. Otherwise, stay out of my game and out of my forum. And don't have the audacity to come here looking for help without such humbling. Statik wrote a whole new paragraph that the OP didn't even write. All cheating in any form ruins the gaming experience of many.
Baker. 1484 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) Otherwise, stay out of my game and out of my forum. It is not your game nor your forums. That being said of course cheating is unacceptable, the OP has paid the appropriate price: that game copy is void. We should merely pity his weak character. There are plenty of forms of cheating which no one would know about besides the cheater. It is therefore impossible to 'rage' over them.
hothtimeblues 128 Posted September 7, 2014 See. I told you guys when fuckers get global banned they are more than ready to pony up more cash to bohemia. This guys friend owns 80 games on steam. Thats almost 3,000 dollars in games. You think 30 more dollars in rockets pockets are going to get hacks to ever be addressed?Steam/valve should have a say in the lack of quality control.
