OP: The wipe will come when the devs fixed the duping issues. Noone clearly knows when this will be, but it wont happen unnancounced. That's why its always good to rely on the official sources. odin_lowe 3686 Posted September 5, 2014 There's no official date or eta. When 0.49 comes to stable, it'll come with server wide reset for all characters. You can see the warning on experimental servers. Note that the 0.49 update in not complete on experimental, and there's only the weather system affecting players so the rest of the patch (along with the new helmets, fingerless gloves, melees, 2 new guns, wolves, etc.) will come before the stable branch gets updated. Then simply wait for about 10 to 15 minutes. You will experience the new hack that forces you to respawn with every other player on the map by a pond as a naked black female. Congrats, you have a new toon. Now the first thing that will go through your mind is complete disbelief that this is reality. Because Rocket said this hack is impossible to do so don't try to kill yourself because you think it's a dream. I guess hackers can now bend reality to make the hack work, otherwise all the fan boys here who believe in Rocket would be wrong. And that's just not possible to not believe in Rocket.P.S. At first I thought my old character was saved because the first time you play the game again after the hack you see your old character.
