Today Marks My Characters first death

So after a long period of surviving, I finally met my demise in elektro today, went up the back side of the sniper hill to jokingly check the trees for snipers, well...

 

I ended up stepping on ones head and he riddled me with bullets, thus marking the end of my long run.

 

RIP, time to start anew.

I guess so, I went to like walk into a tree (Because for some reason I can see into them like most people) and I like hit a wall, and then like slid over the dude laying under the tree, and as the falling thing dayz does stopped, I saw my killer in the eyes and also saw his gun.

 

But yes, Thanks guys for the Applauds, lol Ill never have a toon live that long again probably.

You went to a risky place. You purposely went to a place known to be a sniper position and you checked for snipers. To me you where basically asking to get killed.

When I started DayZ I ran directly into Electro three times or so - never again. I was roaming Berezino then - before the crowds came there. Then I went into the west, somehow it took months for me to even think about going into Electro again. I have not once seen a sniper there on any hill. That must be a boring live for sure on those hills.

 

You went to a risky place. You purposely went to a place known to be a sniper position and you checked for snipers. To me you where basically asking to get killed.

 

If checking Electro sniper hills is asking for death these days, then I have no idea what I am doing all day long ;) I'm the most suicidal idiot out there probably.

I guess my most suicidal thing was jogging up and down the old neaf landing strip shooting into the air again and again to attract someone. Also yelled "Free loot, just shoot me!" again and again. When my mag was empty, I even yelled that... .

The server was completely full. I was so angry that we had not met a single soul in hours - and we were in Svetlo before that. No one came :(

The social aspect of the game always spells the doom of my characters. I always have to give people a chance, or help them out.....

I'd agree if you had to remake your character, but you don't.  You just respawn.  It's the same one.

Nope, new character. Each death you get a clone of your old character and start anew. It's a tough world for clones, but that's the way it is.
