We've decided to turn off the accelerated time as player count has been dropping off. We'd like to keep player count at maximum if possible but we'd love to hear from you on day/night cycles for the Jungle.

Hoping that this weekend brings our rank back up!! We've been busy this weekend so far. Sorry for testing the waters on accelerated light as it seems to have scared some of you away :) We're now 24/7 Daytime for the time being.

Hello fellow survivors, as many of you know, there are some issues still with persistence, the main one is the "Christmas loot" or loot explosions found in certain areas of the map. This forces players to travel inland to find gear, which to us is not an entirely bad thing but it poses a few problems. Our server has been in the top 10 for quite a while and we like to keep it that way, it keeps things interesting on The Jungle and allows for all types of play style from people all over the globe, it also allows the Jungle community to grow and expand. Our player base consists of PVP'ers and bandits, to heros and RP fanatics, we want everybody to feel welcome on the server. So in an attempt to keep The Jungle thriving we will be performing a wipe of persistence data tonight at 10 PM central time, everything will be reset, trucks, tents, bags, and anything that is not in your inventory, I repeat, everything will be lost unless you pick it up! We hope this will allow people to play on the jungle however they choose, whether it's to stay up north and hunt for helis, or roam the coast looking for an unsuspecting victim. We will announce in game before the wipe several times, good hunting and hope to see you in game!

Thanks to the devoted followers who make the Jungle their home. Please ignore my signature server info as that is the old server, but upon launching on Multiplay, we were at full capacity within a few hours and continue to be full tonight. 

 

Things will smooth out over the next few days as we add in a few more messages to the BEC script and setup restart messages. 

 

Server will restart at this point every 4 hours as our Multiplay server seems very stable so far.

Multiplay has contacted us to let us know they are upgrading the hardware for our Server. We may have some downtime today or tonight Central Standard Time (US). 

 

Once the server is back up it will be better than it was!

Server IP was changed .....again. Multiplay did a great job of explaining it and even gave us a discount for the troubles. Server is out there somewhere........a lot of us are kind standing idle while in wait for the next patch or two.

Multiplay is working with us to switch to another server.....again. We are destroying the memory on the server we're on and thus having performance issues because of it. 

 

We will be giving in game notices of the NEW IP and when we plan to swap over. We will give at least a weeks notice before we swap the server over to another machine. 

 

As always, thanks for our loyal fan base. The server is full every single day. Thank you!
