cartire 55 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) So i found a new bug in 48 I ran into a house with a couple zombies outside and closed the door behind me. Started searching the house. The zombies started attacking the front door, and with every hit, I was getting hit. No matter where I ran in the house, they swing at the house, I took the hit. Needless to say, as I figured out that no matter what, i would take a hit, I ran out and disposed of them while black and white. Anyway, anyone else get this yet? cartire 55 Posted August 14, 2014 I got desync. I assumed this but I was able to pick up food in the house before I ran out and killed them. If its desync, its very selective.
DURRHUNTER 597 Posted August 14, 2014 What I'm saying is yes I've had it happen and I can't explain it.
RagedDrew 209 Posted August 14, 2014 It's desync, your body isn't where it should be, to the zombies and the rest of the server you were still at the door. It's actually really common.

It's actually really common. like i said, i was able to pick up food inside the house along with open, close, and reopen again to run outside and kill them. Desync looks like to easy of an answer that doesnt seem right. When i desync, i cant pick up items.

cartire 55 Posted August 14, 2014 Could have been invisible zombie too, no? I killed the 2 visible zombies outside the door and the issue was gone. It was them doing it.

hothtimeblues 128 Posted August 14, 2014 Yeah this stable is freaking terrible. My first zombie went invisible on me. I guess the game cant handle the loot respawn and persistance. Its unplayable. How the hell did experimental play so better?
CJFlint 357 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) You know I was rather enjoying DayZ SA all the way til .47 stable. In .47 there was the whole melee bug that cause me too put it down and wait til the next patch. Today .48 hit stable and I came in with high hopes. To begin with my CHR was completely wiped. So I started over. Strike 1. This happened to me 2 times today. The melee bug is only partly gone, there is still the bug were you cant use your melee weapon. Invis zombies.....one more reason not to want to play.. Here's the thing that really is a game killer for me. You either have to worry about not being able to use your melee weapon or having your CHR wiped. Its got some pretty serous game killing bugs right now. Quite honestly I considering just quiting until its either finished or "Stable" is really stable. WTF happened? .46 I played through never seeing this crap. Patches before that seemed to be kind of ok, it was playable, just corky but good fun. Now its not really worth wasting any time playing...It takes several hours to get geared up decently with the stuff you want, just to have it wrecked or your CHR wiped. LAME as hell. I hate complaining but its so true....ALPHA I know LOL The Devs maybe I think are trying pump out to many new features at once, and there is though whole clause you agree to right when yous start. Im all for new features but not at the exp of game play on stable. If they got to slow down and correct some of this stuff, then they really should. Save the buggy shit for expermental, cause everyone gets there CHR wiped there anyways...No one plays there to survive its to see the new features and have fun. Stable should be like the word stable, and free of game killing bugs. Minor ones ok. Edited August 14, 2014 by CJFlint
hothtimeblues 128 Posted August 14, 2014 Correct me if wrong, but I guess that since less people swarm the experimental, they dont see any terrible desync that happens when they push the updates to stable.
Mystic Bagel 128 Posted August 14, 2014 Ya some weirdness for sure. I was in the Piano house and a zombie chased me inside. While he was swinging at me, someone was shooting at me, or so I thought. I ran upstairs and zombie followed. I was backed into a corner and whenever the zombie missed I heard a bullet ricochet, even left holes in the wall beside me. When it HIT me, bones would break.....that was one hardcore freakin zombie, man, needless to say, I never did survive that encounter!!
VahidkinG 192 Posted August 14, 2014 i think i saw an admin explaining the issue before and from what i remember it happen because of the Navmesh. it mostly happen when you close the door really quick right after you go into house and it's because server still think you are behind the door. it think you closed the door while you was behind it and you actually running to a closed door. i hope they fix this but until then you can just open that door and kill zombies. there was CHR wipe only in exp, i still have my m4a1 :) but there is/was a temporary char wipe but i just changed the server and it recovered my old char :)
CJFlint 357 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) I bet all this stuff happening related to bandwidth and server connection ect, like your saying. It has to be. Because it really seems like sometimes its ok sometimes it terrible. Ping may have lo to do with it to. Whats the best way to tell if the server your about to log on to will have likely desync?? Cause DayZ seems to be way more effected by this then before. Edited August 14, 2014 by CJFlint
