How big is the DayZ SA team? (+ Development)

Hi :)

I recently had the discussion about DayZ SA and why it was so slow going for my interlocutor with the development. I said, "Hey, read the roadmap - there is much more detailled information in it" and sent him the Youtube video.

But as a lazy buddy he asked directly how much developer DayZ total has.

I just meant that I've read that for some time the team was almost doubled and sent him there several links.

Now he wanted to know exactly how much and I searched and searched, but found nothing.
Does anyone know how many of you work for about a total of at DayZ SA?
So the respective areas (animals, bugs, etc.) taken together?
I would also be interested to know that now.

AND ... do you believe that it is running with the development of the game still in the frame, as planned? So when the quarters according to roadmap and the current problems look at.
I'm not sure, but at the moment I would have to say that it naturally through the two-month break where the heavy bugs were (invisible zombies etc) is a certain delay, the game, however, makes for a fairly decent early access game.

2 guys probably, judging by the speed of the development. one bathing in money from sales (Dean) , and one programming

70 ? And notice that once they finally doubled their staff from 35, in a short 2 months the zombie pathing/collision is getting fixed. Why in God's name didnt they double or triple staff before 8 months ago when everyone knew the game would be popular and successful?

Perhaps if the tripled staff earlier we would get more fixes than just the zombie pathing that does not even work with all zombies..

They have +$18,000,000, so obviously this means they spent it on 54 Lamborghi Gallardos for Dean, and whatever is left over is used to keep the production mill running.

Not an expert, just someone who knows that all other games this popular and full of capital that are being developed often have 200 to 300 staff.

or the other BIG guys, and the other BIG and FUN products sold to the radical gaming world

You remember Mickey, he's the copyrighted dude who hangs out in the mall with the Big Plastic Head

he's the symbol of how big teams can make great consumer products

 

We want everything in the world to be Big and Mass Marketed, yes ? And lets get rid of individuality, and niche markets, and minority interests

Let's go for megacompanies who have a "games" division inside their "entertainment" division

You really really have no idea what money is ... at all, right ?

I'll bet you listen to music too, without any idea of who sells it to you or why you like it.

Read wikipedia and look round the web, RESEARCH, find out about development, investment, product placement, media, the entertainment market, targeting, advertizing, budgets, turnover ...

Find out what kinds of money you are talking about, how it moves, what the results are. It's important in your life.

They like to throw out that 70+ but I heard up to 50 of them are QA. I would like to know more specifics if anyone has any information.

Not that it matters, though.
