I'm carrying 2 300 round box's and they are topped out with 45ACP and .357 rounds because i do carry 2 pistols.But would really like some 7.62x51 for my Mosin. Any good spots besides airbases? Elle 562 Posted July 15, 2014 Still makes me cringe.oh I know right? too much to ask for 7.62x54r I guess. on topic... you can find ammo in supermarkets, apartment buildings, gas stations, TEC buildings, as well as some of the barns and the occasional house but I usually head to an obscure base to the west for ammo. oh it occurs to me that if you do a full sweep at zelenogorsk (sp) you should come away with a fair amount of mosin ammo, just a thought. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Evil Minion 943 Posted July 15, 2014 The model is 7.62x54r (as it has the rim), the usage is 7.62x54r (as it fits the Mosin) so its very likely a misnomer. pillock 850 Posted July 15, 2014 I've got shitloads. Only ammo I ever seem to find these days. I find it in houses, cafes, constructions sites, bus depots, agricultural buildings... everywhere. Mr Bunny Rabbit you need to jump along to a town instead of hopping through the airfields hoarding more ammo than you'll ever need. All ammo has the same chance to spawn in the same places, and there are a lot more 'chances' for it to spawn in bigger cities with more loot spawn points. umberfive 89 Posted July 16, 2014 Mosin ammo is fairly common. Just recently gave away over 100 rounds and still have over 300. Why? I make every shot hit. I hope that ammo will be rare in the future, as it should be. The current distribution of ammo is unreal. I go into a house and find a f**king rifle, but no ammo.
