Petty Power Tripping Cheater

Hello Community, this is my second topic.

I wanted to share you my expirience with a cheater and what he claims to have.

To sum it up he claimed that he had a mini-map that showed all the players.
He broke my legs just by punching in the air.


In the end he claimed to have spawned 20 zombies, he sure spawned some but they were invisible.

Look for yourself, its really stupid.

I know lol, but I expected the usual danger, but not cheating.

And the types of cheats he clams to have is quite shocking.

There are hackers on every server in Berezino  and area (Svetlo, Novo, NEAF) specially on Hardcore servers because they have fun that legit players can't spot them as good as on Regular servers.

 

The game is playable for ~7days after ban wave and then we have to wait 1-2 months for another ban wave and hackers are back with updated undetectable hacks.

 

So I hate to say that but we are pretty much in the point where DayZ mod was and what saved DayZ mod was whitelist servers and...admins with full set of admins tools..

Yeah, while he is having fun, he is having fun at the expense of everyone else. Which breaks the game entirely.

The problem here is that it takes really only one guy to cheat in this game and it ruins it for everyone else.
The advantage to know where everyone is or wallhacks etc are really a big deal here.

This was my first encounter of a cheater, he obviously felt like some god... Pathetic...

~30 Euro for game + ~15Euro for monthly hack sub with average ban rate every 2 months that is 60Euro for 2 months of hacking average.

 

So for ~60 Euro one guy can destroy fun of 39 people per server he joins for 2 months.

 

No wonder there is so many hackers it cost only ~60Euro for 2 months of hacking.

So there's an area of the map infested with hackers... Every post you make tells people to "deal with it" and play somewhere else. That's not a solution. The anti hack needs to be improved and you can't simply tell people "hurr don't go to berezino lol alpha xDXDXD".

 

Fucking hate people like you, that keep saying that rubbish over and over. This game isn't your child so stop being so god damn defensive. And if it was, it'd be a pretty ugly one at that.

Seems like a script kiddy (he can't hack shit, he just finds the tools made by hackers on the net and uses them).

 

I have read more posts about people talking that there is an exploit to spawn zombies (probably trough a dll or script).

 

 

I don't even get why people would buy a game, suck at it and then ruin it for other people? Isn't it just simpler and less of a drag to just not buy the game and not play it?

Interesting to watch.  I will never understand the hacking mindset.  I wonder if there has ever been an indepth study into the type of person who hacks.  Would make fasinating reading.  I just don't understand the enjoyment people get from cheating.  Seems to me this would get boring very quickly but what I do know is that there has always been cheaters and hackers in every game made by man.  It amazes me that that game developers are never able to truely wipe out cheaters so we just have to learn to live with it.

I agree, but what perks my interest more in hackers/cheaters of video games is it is just a game.  Seriously, this is just a bunch of pixels activated eventually by code, some of it poorly written...  And what do you get out of it?  Enjoyment derived from cheating in a PC game, or any game that offers nothing in return... How low do you have to be to derive any form of pleasure from that?  I wish I had a video of Will Farrel dressed like a ballerina skating around a half rink while holding a plastic cup from McDonalds wrapped in tinfoil over his head proclaiming himself the winner of the Stanley Cup.  That is pretty much what every cheater in this alpha-test game is doing.  How sad that they don't even realize it.

Yep I mean video games.  I guess the buzz is either the enjoyment of annoying other players and being a douche bag or some ego trait where they can't be bothered learning to play better so will go to any lengths to enable themselves to dominate other players and think that they are cool or skilled.  Noob Cheaters in FPS games are fairly easy to get because they still lack the core skills that make a good player.  I guess in this game if you get killed by a hacker you can just head away from the area and leave them to it but I guess the competitive inclination is to head back and try to get the jump on them.  Maybe best to leave them alone.  Hopefully they get bored and leave for another server.  The worst cheaters are skilled players who use subtle cheats.  Very hard to detect.  Over all I'm not having problems myself with hackers at the moment but its interesting to be awear of whats going on.

Why get angry over any of it?  I get a kick out of dieing in this game.  In theory we are testing their product.  I take liberties with that.  I can honestly say I have thrown myself off all manner of peak, staris, window, rooftoop... just to see what would happen.  I start again and see how long it takes me to reach certain milestones without heading immediately to the most obvious potential treasure caches.  The cheaters will never get that joy.  Instead when they get blown away by a better cheater (or some code) they get mad and frustrated that they have to spend 5 minutes cheating to get the batmobile with cruise missiles back. lol!

I hate loosing my gear, but once you are a fresh spawn, its really the only time you feel desperate for food and weapons. Its really the only time i feel like im in a survival game

Try experimental. Hacker every time I play on stable, been playing for a while now on experimental and haven't find a single one.

Still remember the awesome sight of an ultor soldier zipping about with noclip, putting out 1000+rpm of handgun rounds. 

Oh how we feared the mighty flying devils.

 

Have yet to confirm encounter one, having spent maybe 50/50 in SW/NE.  I'm approaching 200hr and spent maybe as much time on mod, didn't ID too many (save for the occasional convenient guy creeping up on you from what i'd imagine to be a perfect position, no shots fired) or some guy in a Ghilli baiting me into a street-full of corpses and looted gear, then screaming "it's the hacker" while his invisible character w chainfire-axe -presumably the Ghilli's friend friend- lopped me to bits.

 

Can't comment otherwise.  Curious to know whether this mentioned "cross to new engine" will confound the hacks/change the code to some assistance to vanilla players.

Hey I played Red Faction Mp too it was so much fun throwing those yellow remotely activated sticky explosives on people faces. Shotgun was also a good weapon in that game. But pistol hackers shooting like machine guns were bad yeah :S

There are a LOT of cheaters in PayDay 2 too, and one of the reasons for that is that cheating is extremely easy in PayDay. Just put some files in your directory and you are good to go.

 

I saw videos of people who could just spawn anything.

 

They could even set the LEVEL of the people who are in their game to 1.

 

And what's the fun of it anyway?

Also, could have been desync, but was chasing a guy for some time with my baseball bat as he was 'teleporting' 5-10m at a time (not smooth running just glitching about the place).  He didn't seem to mind me at all, then when we got to the NEAF he started axing me from ~5m away.  Again could have been desync.

 

Spawned in Berry after he killed me and noticed that the Eastern industrial smoke stacks were exploding periodically...  Pretty sure grenades aren't in the game yet...
