Burned food makes you sick. Wihout Charcol you die - yes that is a little.... We tried it yesterday.

Finally found my AK Handguard in prestine. Someone brought it to me :D btw that took like 30 hours just to find that and I like it :D

Just spraypainted a folding buttstock for the AKM. Used damaged black spraycan, it turned my buttstock into a wooden one :D

Played 0.45 on stable this weekend with my friends.

 

We found 2 AKM on the Barracks, also two sets of pso1 scope, buttstock and handguard, one 30 rounds magazine and another one of 75 rounds!

 

Also killed a pig and a deer, cooked the meat, got burned :(

This weekend we weill try to fish something and cook some fishes!

So, I have 20 hours played since 0.45 on stable, patroling between Zeleno and Balota.

 

Never seen an animal, never found an AKM.

 

Devs made AKM very rare... for what? You can find very easly canned beans and no need for hunting and you devs care about AKM and M4???

 

Making them so rare is improving this game? You should prevent server hopping then adjust the probability of AKM. Anyway, in a place like this: Balota air field and tents, not finding an AKM after playing 20 hours on 3-4 servers is unacceptable. No need to move from the east, I will just stay there and do nothing. Everyone thought this patch would bring so many new things, but it is so boring...

 

Maybe it's server config problem, check thesee : NL, PL hosted by GameSerevrs.... I have wasted my time....

20 hours on 3 or 4 servers? It's not going to take 20 hours to run to 3 airfields on 4 servers, don't lie. 

I've come across 2 by accident, and the idea is that not everyone is running around with an M4 or AKM. I don't particularly want everyone running around with the very best of items, I want them to be at least a little bit difficult to find. By reducing the amount of primary firearms and increasing the amount of secondary, it may make the M4/AKM/SKS/Mosin actually worth something again.

im finally addicted to this game. i love the new features. keep up pushing more content like this and hopefully bug fixes in beta will be easy enough to make this the best game in history <3

I'm confused.. you eat burned food (which is not far from charcoal lol) and you get sick and need to eat charcoal to heal??   ;)

20 hours is a exagerated, don't get my point? It is enough to say 4xBalota. And I said about Zeleno-Balota, since 0.45 update I am sure I have over 10 hours

i use a 21:9 monitor     after the 45  works the scaling not more. look ugly with the 16:9 resolution ....   i need 2500:1080

The impact of a bullet (dust swirls up) seems still to be bugged. Very annoying for long range engagements, you need to see where you hit..

I am not entirely sure about this, but the zombie respawn seems to have been pulled back, or is it just because I kill them with my trusty fire axe instead of a gun?

Also, loot respawn in certain houses has seemed to vanish where it worked before. Stuff doesn't spawn in the wooden houses / huts anymore, even if it was just a baseball cap or something - haven't seen anything the last 3 days :-/

 

Does anyone have more info on that?

Oh, and I got shot at 6 times today and I know that guy had to be hitting me but I didn't notice anything. Seemed to be close range and the last bullet or two did make me bleed, but his shots seemed incredibly far off, missing me, for as close as they sounded.

Not having this issue.. Is this happening all everytime you join a server?  Even on the different hives?

Any word on a fix for the character deleting problem yet?

 

The problem is with out of date servers not properly being updated by the owners saves get out of sync. It gives you a warning message saying this server is not connected to your save and you should not play here until they update. You just need to not play a server that does not load up your character exit the server and retry.

Foraging isn't particularly well-implemented, imho. I'm not certain if script or engine limitations are preventing it, but it shouldn't be possible to loot a given bush or tree an infinite number of times. There's of course the ridiculous failure chance as well, which turns foraging into a nearly pointlessly long endeavor. I realize the failure chance is probably in place to offset the fact that foraging spots can be searched ad infinitum, but it's still a pain in the ass to scroll-click an apple tree or a berry bush just to watch some long animation play out, over and over again, for twenty minutes straight for a low chance of finding something in the absence of other food.

 

In my ideal little world, I'd give bushes and trees a random chance of spawning a random number of items from within a predefined set range -- 1 - 5 berries per berry bush with a 10 - 40% chance of yielding anywhere from 1 - 5 clusters of berries, for instance. I'd also bump up the chance to successfully find a foraged item to around 50%. This would...

 

1: Make foraging less of a time-consuming pain.

 

2: Encourage the player to search the vicinity as opposed to camping out at one bush or tree among several others in the area, which makes more sense.

 

3: Be more realistic.

 

Oh, and it ought to be possible to cook worms. Why isn't it possible to cook worms? They're fairly nutritious in terms of protein and minerals, so it should be possible to use them as a viable source of food. Got fucking food poisoning from eating a handful of worms today after assuming they couldn't cause food poisoning, since they're incapable of being cooked.

Well my friend ate burned meat and got sick. he was dying ( clearly loosing blood and health ).

Just because something cannot be cooked, doesnt mean its safe to eat. Thats just flawed logic lol

I can't even count how many times my pants have just exploded all of a sudden. It's a serious issue. Any word on when this might be fixed?

Not sure if serious....  :huh:

Do you mean you pants suddenly become ruined? I've had that happen, but its generally after fighting zombies, so I just assume that zombies caused the damage.

hit you before you hit them...always

still run through walls

dont seem to aggro (or see) through walls, so line of sight is there (ITS A GOOD THING)

one hit a pristine piece of equipment and ruin it (NOT FAIR AT ALL)

come out of no where and respawn (counter this by killing then hiding bodies)

 

current player issues:

 

raising fists while moving forward / raising weapon leaps you forward to your doom on a roof (even accidental)

stuck on cancel current action majority of the time.

cannot cook on pots / pans successfully

 

other issues:

making a campfire in a building without windows & doors closed still has wind blow out matches.

there ARE NO ALTERNATIVES TO MAKING A FIRE ASIDE FROM MATCHES! GIVE US A ZIPPO WITH UNLIMITED USES(RARE RARE DROP) OR STICK FIRES! (rubbing sticks)

 

the throwing physics seem to lag ALOT and even then the files such as small campfire brightness or flare or even lanturn dont render (known by the user error / crashes constantly popping up with continue button at bottom)

 

Weapon flashlight + silcers still dont work, flashlight wont work on longhorn,

bolts / arrows unable to recover after hitting something living, but recoverable from walls etc.

 

Longhorn supposed to be one hit kill etc....misses too often

scope sway is TOO bad

 

 

so ...i dont know guys only thing aggrivating is the one hit to pristine equipment to convert it to instantly ruined.

I agree with lighters but...unlimited use? It should be a 100% gas kind of thing and they could add in lighter fluid.

 

If it's one hit kill having perfect accuracy would suck so that's not much of a problem probably intentional or else everyone would just spam it to no end.
