If you have the drop on someone, a chambered 1911, much less any weapon will get the job done. However, in a 1v1 firefight with a fairly capable player armed with something better, you're more than likely going to lose.

Valid point. I don't really KOS unless someone is super geared, but I definitely need to conserve more. I saw no need to conserve ammo in the previous patches as it was so easy to get your hands on. Adapt & survive. (or glitch & dupe) Thats true. I can only speak from my experience. And my experience in the last week has been more than half the people carrying M4's also had a glitched mag. You don't see a problem with someone having infinite bullets without having to reload whatsoever? I don't agree.

Thats fine that you guys still have 5.56 ammo, but you have to realize you're definitely in the minority there. Outside of hacked glitched mags and duplication there is very little legit 5.56 ammo available.

Actually no, most of my friends that had M4's had to ditch them because they couldn't find the 5.56 ammo. I suppose if you had a HUGE stockpile of 5.56 before the patch you could still use it. But by now, there is very little legit 5.56 ammo left.

Thats why you shouldnt think. A 3-man squad killing 7 people over 4 hours is nothing to brag about. If you thought I was bragging you should work on your perception. Definitely hacked, unlimited ammo magazines.

Over the last week my squad and I have run into more and more bandits that have hackmags and M4's. Literally every time we see an M4, we KNOW that person has a hackmag. Since crash sites havent been working, there is NO source for M4 ammo and the only people able to use it are those who have the hacked magazines. Yesterday alone we killed 7 well-geared people in Svetlo over about 4 hours in game. 3 out of those 7 people we killed had hacked magazines.

You and me both. Before the latest update, I was finding 1-2 crash sites per server restart. I haven't found a single one since the 46 stable.

Yeah, don't use the 1911 unless you have the 7 round clip for it. I have the best luck finding ammo/clips in barracks and military tents.
