Anox 10 Posted June 15, 2014 I've had DayZ since Day 1 on steam. Never once have I regretted purchasing it, Yet it seems quite a lot of people have negative opinions of it. Why?

Anox 10 Posted June 15, 2014 Age of entitlement. "I paid monies so I deserve to tell you how to build your game to suit my needs" Eh, I've started playing again today. Mainly due to my anticipation of 0.45, Considering trying Experimental but meh. There's not really any update I could suggest that would make me any more excited about DayZ than I am. xalienax 621 Posted June 15, 2014 I've had DayZ since Day 1 on steam. Never once have I regretted purchasing it, Yet it seems quite a lot of people have negative opinions of it. Why?well some of it is simply that those of us who played the mod wanted dayZ mod 2.0 we bought it day 1 basicly expecting it to "pick up where the mod left off" not wanthing a re-invention of the wheel. add more stuff and optimize what already exists. They have made some serious changes. mechanical decisions that suggest a desire to seperate it from the mod. (eg. exagerated weapon disperson and haing it altered by attachments) basicly more design torward gameplay balancing. I and many others who started playing dayZ after already playing arma liked the zero effs given about blanace weapon handling. you get caped insta death boo hoo cry more. fire firgths were deteremined by your precision with mouse and keyboard not luck or attahcments.
rickyriot 1009 Posted June 15, 2014 I like to think that the number of people who complain is down to the potential of the game, thus turning it all into one big positive of "wow, this thing could be massive.." Of course we all know that this is not true and that people in general are whiny little meat bags who deserve little more than a rusty fork to the face. igor-vk 909 Posted June 15, 2014 I you dont like - dont play it!! Stop bitching all over!!! Next time read instructions before buying!
kakysas666 191 Posted June 15, 2014 I liked DayZ since the first day. It is realistically clunky (no irony here) and despite its bugs and other issues, it is the best game of 2013.

conan the librarian 99 Posted June 15, 2014 I've had DayZ since Day 1 on steam. Never once have I regretted purchasing it, Yet it seems quite a lot of people have negative opinions of it. Why? I bet you've seen a lot of changes during your year or so of dayz standalone development.. canvas pants being the biggest thing to turn all of our enquiring heads.
KingofTheWorld 44 Posted June 15, 2014 You think why ? Cause of slow development progress making peoples crazy, if you enjoy keep playing buggy, shitty game instead of proper game then nothing to say to you. Since long time this game totally could be reach final version. When final version comes if there is no huge diffrence from other dayz mods it will be so bad. conan the librarian 99 Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) Dayz cocked up, and now they are going to lose to h1z1, who already have a far reaching system engine to use. Dayz will be the first game to make millions of dollars on a never-released game. Edited June 15, 2014 by conan the librarian

nexventor 429 Posted June 15, 2014 I don't remember reading or hearing anywhere that DayZ will be perfectly stable and completely entertaining the entire alpha process. If shit gets boring, buggy, glitchy, just play another a game, have a coffee, watch TV, make love or better yet, GO THE FUCK OUTSIDE lol
