I want to host a vanilla DayZ official hive server...what's required?

I know there are a lot of restrictions and requirements for hosting an official server, but I'd like to. Is there a list of requirements somewhere that I can view, any kind of knowledge base for hosting an official server?

Check like Gameservers. The price is around 80 USD or more as I understand it, and your privileges therein include decided when to manually reset your server and if you want to kick/ban from the server, but doing so without cause or reason can lose you the server you paid for I think.

So it has to be a professional hosting service? I've got a dedicated server machine as beefy and optimized as any professional service and the skills to run it as well as any of them.

not only a professional service. an established, large GSP with datacenters in multiple regions with the infrastructure and SLAs to guarantee patch rollout, server file security, and stability, and on top of that the ability to provide a significant number of server instances at own expense.

What are we talking about here? This is in the Mod-Section, yet you're talking about GameServers and 80$ / month, which is four times the price for a DayZ Mod Server.

I just want to get a server up and running on my own hardware and space, not willing to pay a provider.

I actually have read through most of the forums postings, but they all refer to old files, modified files, etc.

There are no available server files for the SA, you're only option is to rent a server.

There aren't any.  Any you do find are cracked/hacked and outdated.  They want to keep a tight control on things for now.  IDK if they said they'll start releasing them for Beta or Release.

This is also what I'm looking for.  I have the equipment and infrastructure to make it happen.

There are none available at this time and I suppose when there are, there will be conditions and agreements to respect.
