zeroy 240 Posted May 23, 2014 Guess I need to get an axe to chop down some ash trees. I tried 6 types of trees. Results: 2 Ruined axes and always the same logs as results. No Ashwood sticks.
zeroy 240 Posted May 23, 2014 You should be able to craft a hook too, with say pliers and sewing kit. Add pliers to sewing kit to craft hook. (use pliers to bend needle into a hook shape) Sewing kit is either ruined or damaged 1 level each time you do this. ;) Is this an idea or is it in Experimental already? Grimey Rick 3417 Posted May 23, 2014 I have found several Ashwood Sticks near Vybor. The trees that look like Weeping Willows between Vybor and the Military Base are what you're looking for.

If anyone finds the hook elsewhere, if they could share where that is!

stryker007 39 Posted May 23, 2014 It is indeed a great idea! If anyone finds the hook elsewhere, if they could share where that is! You ever tried bending a pin or needle? they just snap. How about wire coat-hanger and pliers?
zeroy 240 Posted May 23, 2014 You ever tried bending a pin or needle? they just snap. How about wire coat-hanger and pliers? Wire coat hanger is far bigger than a needle. You can bend a needle - or better, a safety pin! That would be in a sowing kit wouldn't it?
stryker007 39 Posted May 23, 2014 must so resist entering debate on bendability or lack there of for a pin/needle... resist... resist :) safety pin, with you on that one!
KingOfTime 267 Posted May 24, 2014 Ive seen people make fishing hooks out of the pull tabs on soda cans, but I've never seen one used to actually fish.
