Infinite Mosin Ammo

Well... it seems like a lot more hacks are popping up. Yesterday I had a guy shooting at me with a mosin. He missed 4 times and I thought GREAT! I will catch him in the reload! After 8 consecutive shots i still hadnt found him and started getting a little suspicious. kept doing a dance to avoid bullets. he shot probably 20 shots in a row without reloading. finally as i spotted him (hugging a wall about 20 meters away) he finally head shotted me. I was pissed he was hacking, but it felt quite nice that even with hacks he missed so many shots. I know everytime this game gets patched hackers can find workarounds, but i would really like to see this be a priority in the near future... hope one of those global bans happens soon.

 

PS- my clan has been encountering an infinite ammo m4 clip like once a day now. We just bury the bodies before anyone can grab up the hacked stuff. before this new patch i hadnt really confirmed any hackers. They seem like a dime a dozen now though.

Could be a glitch.. I found a pepsi can that I can drink over and over and doesn't go away... I did not kill anyone for it.. Just found it in some random loot. But ive had this pepsi for 2 patches. Still infinite pepsi. Now if only I could find a bag of rice like this!!!
Not saying that there is no hackers but sometimes you cant allways blame hacks.

I've looted unlimited stacks of 7.62x51mm rounds, 5.56mm rounds, and unlimited Morphines from people. This isn't uncommon. It's getting too far out of hand.

Ok so i have heard this could also be a glitch from a few people in my clan. point taken. to answer one of the posters, there was absolutely no time for reload. He fired at me for like a full 30 seconds. i was listening to the shots and it was one after the other no pause except the time it takes to cycle the rounds. to the other person who suggested multiple shooters... every shot was loud (the shooter was 20 meters away behind a wall) and I could see bullets hitting on the wall next to me on the factory wall in such a manner that they all suggested a common point of origin. also... when i did finally spot him right before he got the headshot, he was not really geared. yellow raincoat, and no melee that i could see. looked pretty fresh. I know a lot of people call "HACKS" because someone bested them but i dont think that is what happened. no i have no proof. But hacks or bug exploit doesnt matter to me. i just want people to be aware, and i hope this is being looked into.

Maybe it was 2 or 3 people shooting at you...Don't jump to conclusions without hard evidence.

The evidence is that all the shots were fired close to my proximity and all hit at the same angle on the adjacent wall. The sound of the shot was all from the same direction. There was a bambi on the next level of the roof on the factory running decoy and the other guy was hardly geared. Its not hard evidence but it is evidence. also the shots were in succession. If there were 4 shooters why would they wait to each fire one shot right after the other person in the exact time it takes to cycle a round. I dont want to argue about it. I just want people to be aware that it is out there. And whether it is a bug or a hack, more people are exploiting it. While a lot of the "hacker" posts ARE questionable because someone isn't aware of the intricacies of open world and tactics, I am very aware. The evidence stacks up for me that it is at least a bug that is being taken advantage of. I posted it here instead of another thread because i had never heard of infinite mosin ammo until i was killed by it. I feel like the more people wave these things away, the less likely the devs are going to do something about it, or the priority will be lower.

When I am reading these reports I think they should be taken with a grain of salt. I also think that rather than demanding hard evidence (Something I don't think is going to happen in a game of this type.) we should look at the number of complaints of a certain type, and see if a pattern emerges. In this case yes, there have been allot of complaints about infinite ammo recently, and its a known issue. I've seen two in the last twenty hours or so personally, and been killed once by someone who had a shocking number of shotgun barrels. 

 

Shit happens, and it will get fixed eventually though.

It seems to me that he died, got pissed off and called hacks like a lot of "junior players" do unfortunately without any substantial proof. Would also explain why he didn't use the search function and decided to post a "rage" thread instead.

I don't think I've seen any actual hackers, but dupers/exploiters are common.  Wall glitching and duping is a very common thing.  The upside is that since those are glitches they can potentially fix them, the downside is they don't seem to care much at the moment.

 

Also, in regards to glitched items/duped mags.  Fuck no I don't use them if I find them.  You guys talking about holding onto glitched out pepsis and shit should toss those out.  And to the question about "wouldn't you use a glitched mag if you were already shooting?" No.  I was in a fight the other day and killed a guy with a m4 with an infinite ammo mag.  I was out of ammo myself after killing him (goofily enough killed him with a 1911 and 7 bullets vs his infinite ammo bullshit) and I knew he had buddies around but I didn't grab his shit.

 

I bet a large portion of these exploiters are people who just found these duped/glitched items.  Throw that shit out ya dinguses.  Same with glitching into walls, just because other fuckers do it doesn't mean you should go in there too "just to get them out" or whatever.  Have some integrity people, don't perpetuate this shit.

Ammo amount cheating pertains only towards clips, magazines, and speed loaders as far as I have seen and witnessed. Because even if the stacked ammo is limitless they can only put the limited amount designated for certain mags/speed loaders.

I looted a kitted Mosin from a guy that I had downed and noticed that the ammo in his gun had a "comma" written on it while in his gun. Normally you don't see the amount of ammo left in a gun that isn't in a magazine/clip. It kept firing, and firing, and firing. And the Morphine I mentioned could be used infinitely. It didn't have a quantity written on it, but it was "Ruined" and somehow kept working. :3

Oh well...that's new then. *nods* Looks like they got it to work on bolt-action rifles too. Oh well, if they just do a hive wipe it will clear them up and of course they will just do it again but at least they will not be common. :)
