ZOMBIES

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i'm Pablo, i'm from Spain and i'm here to protest for the "Amazings zombies" that there are actually in the game (28/04/2014)

So, the problem is when i'm running and a Zombie see me, he starts to follow me until the infinity and beyond, this is the first problem.

The second problem is when the zombie is following me and he hits me from 4m and he makes me blooding.

The third problem is that they run almost like me

And the last problem is that, they can transfer the walls.

All of this problems make the game so difficult and annoying. There are some days that i don't want to play the game only for this problems, because is really horrible >:( .

So, i hope it fixed

I REQUEST IT PLEASE.

Maybe my english is not perfect, if someone found anything wrong in the text, please tell me.

If someone is agree with me, says it.

Bye!

This is a zombie game....what did you expect?.....zeds are just fine....other bugs are far more annoying.

Zeds are fine? Are you off your head?

Pablo: don't run away from them, run around them. Just jog in circles, they won't touch you. Get used to their patterns of movement and lunging. This doesn't take long. I've been running around Berezino herding up groups of 6,7,8 zombies, and just playing with them. Once you get the hang of the way they move, they become VERY easy to avoid. After this, you can pretty much get on with your business undisturbed by them, even if they are trying to chase you.

Why wouldn't zombie continue to follow you until you do something about them? That's what zombies do. And since these are technically living humans infected with some sort of rage disease it makes sense that they are as fast as you. If you don't want to be hit then do what the others said and zigzag, run in arcs, etc.

But really...just kill them. Since the last patch you no longer need to wait for one of the axes to be able to kill them. 2 or 3 head shots from almost any of the melee weapons will take them down now. I've successfully used the pickax, machete, pipe wrench, and a few others. I've also heard good things about the combat knife for the m4.   If you can't hit them in the head reliably in third person try first person view. I find it much easier in first person. If you can't do it in first person then I'm not sure what to tell you.

As for going through walls, obviously that's not intended. Developers are saying they are going to lay the zombie clipping mesh down all at once when the map is finished. Something about keeping its polygon count lower, or something. I am no expert so that might not be the reason, I thought i remembered reading about that though.

In the last month I have died to a zombie once, and that was because I was prone and was not paying attention and got hit in the head. I really don't understand how people can be having so much trouble with them. You hear them coming a mile away even if your view is obstructed.

Plenty of times I've been ninja-attacked by the Zeds. No noise, no sign, just bam!!! through the wall they come and if I was crouching for something, I can get one-shot. I would love to know how a single shot to a person with a pristine helmet can get one-shot by a zombie.

As for them being infected and just as agile as us, meh, not really. They don't have a food source. With no energy, they should not be faster and stronger than humans. That being said, I like hard zombies. But a lot of people are struggling with zombies. I think a lot of it is lag/server related. Sometimes I log into a server and it gets buggy right from the start. Meaning you right click on an item but can't interact with it, and also super slow response to hot keys and such. Logging off and back on clears it usually. Why?

I want to kill a zed with a single blow to the head, or severely damage him if I hit his neck or shoulder. When I get 'smacked' hard by a zed, it should not damage all my gear and protection cases and ammo cases. I now carry different gear in the shirt and vest that I am less concerned about losing, due to the current state of the zeds.
