Found an Engrave 1911, shoved a magazine in, later emptied that magazine into someone who didn't know how to breach

Recommended Posts

I will now use this thing as my sidearm due to how badass it is, and when it goes click I can just pull out my FNX45 and have 15 more .45 ACP rounds.

I originally found it in a Schoolhouse at Elektro, I then hauled my ass to the Military base southeast of Vybor and met one of my pals, we then started to loot the area, for me to slip through the wall and fall to my death.

Not fun.

Fortunately, the map is incredibly easy to go through right now, and with a Three Valleys spawn, I met up with my friend, got my 1911 back, and went to that military base again, only for my friend to spot someone, who was running right towards my position at the jailhouse, so I rushed inside. A few bullets brushed past me, I wasn't hit, but I knew he was coming for me, so I ran up those stairs and shakingly held my engraved 1911 in my hands.

Then he turned around the corner, not even thinking, yelling for me to stop as I unloaded my whole magazine into his exposed body.

Protip: Breaching is something you should do after you shoot at someone armed who then fleed inside of a building.

It is okay, Irish, everyone makes simple mistakes.

Like the guy who dumbly walks right to the bottom of the stairs, to slowly turn and look at me, expecting a hug.

He got a hug, yes, a hug of 7 .45 ACP rounds.

Dynamic overwhelming breaches are good, specially if you have distraction devices. Flushing out and/or surrender works great also, just better hope they don't have friends coming up your rear or a random stranger to breakup the party.

Good job bunkering in and protecting your prize, I still have yet to find one.

LOL.. breaching in SA is the most nerve wracking things to do due to the bugs and delays in the game, not to mention the walls and corners being unreliable in some buildings. But because of all of that its my most fun thing to do.. nothing gets my adrenaline going more in this game than being breached upon or doing it to someone else myself.

But honestly.. you don't just shoot at someone, and then run into their building they just holed up in unless you're flat out mental.

Haha, he would have been dead if he had killed me, my friend would have easily pushed for a flank and shot him in the head while he was looting my body.

Yeah, this guy was a dumbass, my friend saw him trying to open doors that you can't open.

Perhaps he was new?

He just tried to rush me, lol, probably thought my gun wasn't loaded, he had switched for his FNX45 when he came to the stairs, too.

Yeah a breach is very dangerous on someone who is bunkered, no matter how prepared you are.

For this game I mostly like using bait and bash: get a guy into an over watch position then slowly pull back everyone else. When the gopher pops it's head out to investigate, squeeze the trigger.

This was a rather short "bunkering" of mine, as he literally walked right into my sights, so I just unloaded due to the adrenaline.

Your tactics were superior to his capabilities, that's why I love this game.

A guy with a gun in his hand is a threat.

A guy with a gun who knows how to use it is dangerous.

A guy with a gun, knows how to use it and knowledge of how to put the enemy at a disadvantage is lethal.

Heres my engraved 1911...

Check out the trick magazine insertion.

I think mine is broken lol.

I think I saw that "Sons of Guns" episode where they made a custom mag insertion like this.. totally.

:P

I noticed you have the pistol flashlight attached to your 1911; I also have a 1911 (though not as crazy cool as yours :P), and I managed to find a pistol flashlight, but when I took the battery out of my headtorch and put it into the pistol flashlight, I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. There was no option that I could find when right-clicking it while attached to the 1911 in my backpack, only an option to detach it; when I DID detach it and had it sitting by itself in my backpack, I DID get an option to turn it on, but when I did, nothing happened. I've also tried all of the supposed hotkeys to turn it on, but to no avail. Does it just not work properly when attached to the 1911, or am I doing something wrong? I would REALLY like to get it working, as I would MUCH rather have a gun pointed and at the ready when searching around in the dark with a flashlight, just in case.

Funny, I found one in exactly the same place, then reluctantly ditched it for an FNX so that I could carry more medical supplies and have more ammo per mag.I LOVE the 1911, it is such an awesome gun, however in the game there is little reason to carry it over an FNX if you are going to use a .45. I miss my punisher looking 1911 though

You can't deny the cool factor. I pack one myself.
