Approx. date? 2015

Wasn't Barricading planned for Q4?

I'm guessing that'll be the start of base building.

Would be very awesome if this would be true. There are already now some huge problems which are setting the "delivery points" of the promised stuff way back from adding them in time.

They haven't promised shit! I am sick of this "they promised us" BS. Everything is a guide line and if they have unforseen issues on one thing that may delay everything else,. Stop acting so entitled.

Barricading as far as I can recall will be the next major feature they will add after hunting and along with the roadmap that was revealed, probably somewhere around end of Q2 or during Q3, so about summer time.

I am not the one who is whining about "hey you promised, where is it?" I am saying only what rly is true. The truth is I've been reading the complaints about the new stuff. People are complaining A LOT because the stuff which had to be already implemented is still missing and there are no further informations about it. If you are sick of that you maybe should relax, I have a feeling you're in a very bad mood but I am not the reason for that, believe me.

There is no approximate date right now as it has not been announced, but I expect next year or possible in 2016.

Aren't you? It sure seems like it.

the stuff which had to be already implemented is still missing

Lol here you go again. YAWN!

Nothing "HAD" to be implemented by any specific time frame ever.

No shit! IT's the way people complain that is the problem. Throwing a tantrum is not the correct way.. which is what A LOT of people do on here. Threatening uninstalling, demanding money back, it ridiculous and childish at best. Certain humans like to complain even if it serves no purpose or is completely irrational.

If you are sick of that you maybe should relax, I have a feeling you're in a very bad mood but I am not the reason for that, believe me.

I am too busy enjoying a game to be in a bad mood, wish same could be said for A LOT of  people on here lol.

Wrong mate, wrong.

1. They did promised.

2. No I'm not complaining, I'm saying what I'm reading what people are complaining about. I dont care when this and that will be implemented, all I want is that it works fine, without bugs.

3. I am talking to you, not to others and you do act like you're having a bad mood, just saying.

4. Check the facts before you write stuff like "Nothing "HAD" to be implemented by any specific time frame ever."

I have a LOT of problems with direction and priority choices the dev team has made since the initial release of the SA alpha. I will continue to be loud and outspoken abotu how i think things should be and how they shouldnt be and would onyl hope that anyone one else who actualy cares about the product continues to speak out openly rather then sitting quitely and being shocked when dissapointed.

With that out of the way, I cant help but feel some sympathy for the devs. You simply cannot win when working with a heavily invested community on a game that has evolved from an existing title or mod. I have worked on several Modding projects over my yeas gaming (primarily as a coder) and i will be the first to admit they your ALWAYS wrong when your players are still waiting for content xD

> Keep everything quiet and release it when done: Comunity bitches they had no imput

> Run a closed Alpha/beta: those who get in and those who did not have a war.

> Run an open alpha/beta: Everyone and anyone gets to speak thier peice and everytime you make one person hapy somoene with the opposite viewpoint is now pissed.

Welcome to development.

Ok show me where they promised, take your time lol You will be a while.

It's alpha, that goes directly against what you want. Uninstall and come back when you can understand what that means and the game is "bug free" lol. Oh and BTW NO game is bug free, so you will be waiting a while hahaha

Yea they havent promised anything, In fact the only thing they have promised is that the alpha will be buggy and broken (as expected) but certain types choose to ignore that fact. The dev team set an ETA and when it doesnt happen people complain that they promised... The road map for example is a rough plan of what's to come its not the devs saying we promise this will be done by Q3, but some people will see it like that because of a lack of knowledge on game development.

This isnt really aimed at any individual but the amount of entitled ass hats that reply to updates and tweets with "WHERES VEHICLES" or "FIX YOUR GAME" are the ones that need to calm down.

Hello there

Guys, remember if Dean drives around to your house and tell you that your favourite "mechanic" will be ingame by Friday, even though he and the team may have its best intentions to do, so issues crop up which can change release dates or even if that particular mechanic is ever included.

So, even if you see a video about for example the Roadmap, it still might change entirely.

Only count on something appearing when you have seen it in the changelog.

Please remember nothing is "promised" or certain.

Dean/BIS/Devs to not issue their edicts through God inscribed on stone tablets.

As to Op's question? I personally would be looking no closer than the end of this year, but I may well be wrong.

Rdgs

Not for a very long, long time, or if it will be added at all. I have my doubt. For some strange reason it doesn't seem to be a priority. Clothes, hats and other useful game changing stuff are more important apparently.

Was nice watching that video again of Dean at Rezzed, it's good to know that with updates, we get new things and we also get some previous bugs getting fixed, that's the way it seems to be.

Update:

Flashy new objects

New mechanics,

Bugs from previous updates fixed.

Update 2:

Flashy new objects,

New Mechanics,

Bugs from previous updates fixed.

The way the game is at the moment, helps them work out what is going wrong quickly, as when you're on a team of 20 doing testing it is very

easy to miss out bugs compared to when 100'000 people are playing it and finding bugs all the time.

It seems to be that a lot of people aren't satisfied with the progress, but they also need to realise that every single update will not be 100% perfect every time, infact, it will most likely be 70% progress, 30% problems. Because the company is so small at the moment, it will most likely end up at branch number 0.5 before we see any real progress being made when the basic structure has got rid of say 80% of the bugs.

That's my opinion and thought process anyway.
