Uncute 1 Posted April 22, 2014 Hey everyone!I'm really p*ssed right now.So i bought Day Z yesterday. Installed everything.. fine.But then the game doesn't even start up for me. Reinstalled, nothing happened.The problem is that my TV says "unsupported signal". I already checked for the right resolution, everything is fine. Now i want to contact the support but can't find anything! Steam keeps redirecting me to this page ! Where is the Support here ? I really want my money back if the game doesn't work for me. boneboys 7988 Posted April 22, 2014 Calm down, what exactly did you buy ?This is the DayZ SA Forum, the game is a simple download, there is no "Installed everything", unless you are referring to ArmA2/Co + DayZ mod, in which case you have posted in the wrong Forum section. SmashT 10907 Posted April 22, 2014 A couple things you can try. Launch the game and when you get no signal, hit alt+enter. Which may allow you to change to windowed mode and then allow you to change resolution in-game. You can also try opening DayZ.cfg, located here: C:\Users\SmashT\Documents\DayZ Change the resolution values to match your tv, maybe try 800x600 first and then if that works, change to your TV's native resolution, also check the refresh rate matches correctly. If all else fails and you want a refund you will need to contact Steam Support as it's a Steam game. https://support.steampowered.com/ You could also try support@bistudio.com but they may very well just direct you back to Steam support as I am not sure if they handle refunds directly if the game was purchased through Steam so try Steam first. This worked! But i can only play at 1600x1200 ;( My resolution is actually at 1920x1080 but the game doesn't support it for some reason. But thanks anyways ! All i had to do is to change the refresh rate to 60hz. But i have another problem. I can't join any server. It seems that i need the latest version for the servers. There is also Server-Maintenance at the moment. So you will have to give it a bit more time and close the game for now, as it needs to be updated through Steam.
