Searched but could not find anything on Track IR

I have used it since it first come out, mostly for air combat simulators and driving games but I have also used it with combat games...

Arma II Operation Arrowhead can be played with Track IR  ;)

Sorry if this has been suggested already,I truly searched quite a bit for it

Would be an incredible addition to DayZ IMHO

Cool stuff, the only problem I see is that your monitor could be too small. Turn your head left and you can't properly look on the monitor further more.

I use it, it is bloody fantastic. Check out my vids in my signature.

If you want immersion this brings it in leaps and bounds. I can't play without it and ben using since DayZ mod

I don't see that as a problem at all as you can adjust the sensitivity a lot. I do run on a 27" but have used on my old monitor which was 22"

There are only two downsides to it

1) You have to start the software before the game... I often forget lol

2) You can't have an undressed window behind you. Lights at night time don't effect it at all but natural light from a window can screw the sensors occasionally. I

Ah ok I see, sounds cool. But pretty pricy for around 200bucks. Tried any other software before? From what I have read in the last minutes you basically only need a good webcam.

You can absolutely make one for less than 20 bucks if you already have a webcam but I was far to lazy and waste more money than that one a weekend drinking. This was not a waste IMO

Try this if you want to go the free way, I know a guy who built and said it works excellent.

People throw out so much money for pc stuff that is not even useful, this is a very useful tool if you are into simulations/immersion.

Wait, what do you want ? A support of TrackIR or FreeTrack is in the game.

It sounds very interesting. Price tag is an issue.. would like to know the developer's take on this.

You can use both track ir or freetrack. Both are supported.

Try freetrack then, what does the developer got to do with anything?

I've been running TrackIR for probably a year now. Like NexVentor, I've gotten terribly used to it. Being able to free-look hands free across three monitors? Totally worth it.

Yeah, that's basically the question is it useful (to me). Would I use it for anything else than DayZ? I wonder what games do support TrackIR too. I am not really into those flying sims. And with the upcoming things like occulus rift and co will developers still focus on TrackIR support?

It's really not about the money, still 200 bucks are 200 bucks. It's cool stuff nonetheless. Money is money for a reason, it needs to be spent anyway. Just my personal opinion.

Been using a track ir for over 4 years worth every penny took a few weeks to get used to but couldn't play arma or dayz without it now, I even find myself watching YouTube and tilting my head to look around, I even think twice about buying games that don't support it
