Add mirrors to replace 3pp

Be able to use mirrors to look around corners while in 1pp and remove 3pp. Unite the community.

Imo there shouldn't be 3pp servers because they split the community. Besides, mirrors are far more realistic.

i agree to the fact that mirrors are far more realistic, but different players need different playstyles, especially in such a Big Playerbase. Me and my friends hang to hardcore. I dont know what you mean. Wich part of the Community do you want to play with? The 3pp Players? I dont think they will be amused if you force them to adapt your playstyle.

There are enough HC and 3pp Players.

 

Q and E Buttons are fine too btw.

Over half of the player base play on 3rd person servers so apparently they enjoy it, so stop trying to change it and go play HC. In hardcore mirrors? why not, but I can just imagine how difficult it would be to implement though.

Third person is only in the game to balance.

On first person in dayz 90 degree field of view. In real life you have a 180 degree field of view, otherwise with third person whilst playing dayz you have a 180 degree field of view.

it simply isnt less hardcore for you, because its your choice to play on hc. Noone wants to ruin your gameexperience.

You don't understand what I'm getting at.

The game isn't being coded with 2 play styles in mind. The devs may feel the need to cater to everybody, making the game itself less hardcore.

If the devs keep 3pp to please the casual gamer, what other concessions will they make that will find their way into the game. For everybody. HC or casual.

here we go again...fov is the same in both perspectives...at least get your facts right, the camera is just further behind making you believe you have a wider fov.

The camera's placement gives you a more realistic view, though. The actual camera FOV isn't any higher, but the wider area you see is more true-to-life than the first-person vision, ironically.
