Emergency Stable Patch Feedback

Can we use a single thread to gather input on players experience as they play the new version this weekend. I'm thinking time logged, Dsync experienced, log in issues, and any other feedback in performance all in one place. Just trying to get the info in one place for both users and developers. I'll log mine this evening.

I spawned in a wall, and I was thinking this was just a normal bug. But a few minutes later one of the guys I was playing with ended up in a wall as well.

Things are running nicely for me. Spawned in , got a fight almost instantly and it seemed fairly stable and without lag.

20 Minutes of gameplay so far. Minimal lags and I really like the now zombie behaviour. :)

Ambient sounds have gone from mildly annoying to actively distracting and immersion breaking.

The zombies are awesome now! Really agressive, you cant put your axe on your back at all when in cities.

Forgot to add '# of players on server' to my list and on a mobile device, unable to edit my post. That would be helpful input I think as I know inputs been a factor.

The zombies are awesome now! Really agressive, you cant put your axe on your back at all when in cities.

I am enjoying zeds more now they just need to fix the clipping walls and make them so your able to sneak past them and double or more there number and we got a zed apoc lol..

strange I have gained 5 or more frames hitting the mid 80s in the wild and low to mid 40 in cities.. I do believe it has reset you profile file though so for those who have had to tweak it to get performance go check this file and redo you view distance etc..

I still disconnect all the time and get session lost on servers with 10 players. When I played on a different hive server with no gear, I had less desync than with full gear. This seems to be the cause. Hopefully the guaranteed message system will fix this.

The problem with these session lost messages is that they still trigger the anti-server hopping timer.

I'm still experiencing quite a bit of desync to the point where I couldn't enjoy the game. A small part of it may be the connection I was playing on, but I've never had issues with this connection supporting the game before and it tested well before I played. I'm seeing 500-600 ping on average for every server when I view the server lists :(

 

I guess I just won't play for a while. No point in playing if it's just going to frustrate me and I can't enjoy it.

I can no longer see any servers online.
I am gonna trouble shoot the issue as a local fault at my end but will keep you up to date

I noticed the same, servers take a little longer to load, but overall I'm getting less lag.

Yeah just had a run around Stary and Novy, the lag/desync seems to be gone but the server refresh time is like 1min.

I guess that is the price we pay from now on which I am happy with.

Wait.  Can you guys please explain what you mean?  Did they release a hot fix patch for normal alpha or do you mean just the fix for experimental?  You didnt say in the post.
